Long Island Video Enterprises LIVE, Inc. — Local services in City of Glen Cove

Students for 60,000 is a high school humanitarian program whose mission is to help and empower those in need. During this pandemic, our mission has never been more urgent and yet our ability to fulfill that mission has been dramatically curtailed in terms of our traditional fundraising efforts. Several individuals suggested we pursue a drive-in movie to raise money. The problem we ran into is how expensive this kind of endeavor can be. That problem immediately went away when we connected with LIVE. LIVE offered the use of their equipment and professional staff to help us facilitate a hugely successful event. The community loved it and had a wonderful experience at a time when it was sorely needed. This is largely attributed to the incredible professionalism of the LIVE employees, their charity, and dedication to support us in carrying out such an important mission of assisting the needy during this difficult time for all of us. I highly recommend LIVE and I am deeply grateful for their service.

I wrote, produced and perform in my own one woman show. Recently, I was hired to perform for a fundraiser at a Yacht Club. After a site visit, I realized lighting was needed and contacted Long Island Video. They were pleasant, knowledgeable, responsive, and most of all, they clearly really care about doing right by their clients. My contact, Lori DiGiacomo, was a calming, totally solution-oriented professional. Her team who did the set up did a terrific job and the lights were AWESOME! Lori and her team established an appropriate, affordable theatre-like space for me, and the recommendation that I use a backdrop made all the difference in the world. The sponsors as well as some of the guests remarked how exciting the set up was in creating anticipation that a live show was truly about to begin! From the first contact describing our needs, to the delivery of the recorded products, LI Video customer service and care were exemplary. Several areas were particularly outstanding: communications pre/during/post; timeliness of arrival; consummate professionalism in working with our staff and in particular the human subject of the video; familiarity with the project with excellent improvisation to guide the recording; smooth teamwork between the director, teleprompter expert, and grip. I felt that the quality of our project was the most important thing for the LI Video crew, and they did everything to make that a realty.
