Dollar General — Local services in City of Hornell

Very rude about a return. Item was bought with debit card and so she said it was supposed to be put back on. When we came back with card she changed her mind and said we cant return it because it had been opened. Which it was just the top flap opened to look in. No tape disturbed or anything. Mind you she went and got another one and opened it the same way i did to look at, and they were just the same but mine couldn't be returned because I opened it yet, the other one could be put back on the shelf and sold even though it was opened as well, but I guess the difference was it was opened by her. And had the nerve to call the police because of her wrong doing and deceit. Unfair, bad customer service, and dishonest. Make sure you want what you get for sure before purchasing...

mean workers, don’t let kids go into the store. when me and my friend went into there we took a cart and then my friend got a emergency where she needed to leave really fast and then we left out cart there because she really needed to go home to her mom and then when we came back to get what we needed and to pick up our carts, the worker told us to get out so now we can’t go there anymore but she didn’t know what we needed. it was...

Who runs this store. 2:30 pm today , ten people in line with one cashier and no other employees around to help the cashier. I looked in the office, out back and not one person to help her. Shame...
