I have been attending Powerhouse Gym in the City of Industry since March 2021. I can remember my first time driving by thinking this gym was tailored to young adults and I did not think twice about inquiring about a membership. However, one day on my way to work I saw the powerhouse members “running their lap” and one woman I recognized was my age. I gave it great thought and said to myself, "you can do that" and I was determined to contact them as soon as I got to work; so, 20 minutes later I did just that; and after being greeted by one of their encouraging staff members, I was invited to and attended a class the next day.  Not knowing what to expect, it was a little challenging to me of course and I felt like I wanted to jump the fence and exit out of there, but the trainer and members attending the very same workout class highly motivated me to keep going at my own pace, and I am so glad I did!! I joined the 28-day challenge which inspired me to do something for me; it helped me change my eating habits and encouraged me to stay on track... Every Staff Member is looking out for your best interest. They always have a positive attitude and take their time to answer any questions or concerns you may have.  It makes each morning worth getting up for. I am so Happy I gave it a chance; That day back in March seems like yesterday, I am so happy that I made the choice  to join the Powerhouse Family. Each day we are greeted by positive attitudes, laughs, smiles and happy healthy work out days - I will never look back; I am so happy to be a part of this Powerhouse Family.

I can honestly say, I highly recommend powerhouse gym, no matter what age you are or what shape you are in; the positive reinforcement and the comfort you find here really makes each day a Great day!

Here I am, 49 years old and 44 pounds lighter, I feel great, healthy, and have a lot more energy – Never give up!

I have been a member of bootcamp-like places before. The last one closed due to Covid. I was looking for a place to workout and came across Powerhouse Fitness Training a few months ago through a friend. I'm so happy i joined. My life has never been the same. There is a level of professionalism here and a focus on overall health. They are super organized from their class schedules to how the classes are run. I get a great workout AND release stress.

The coaches, trainers, nutritionist and front desk staff are all there to support you. They really make you feel welcome, like family. The men and women who go there, are there to workout, be healthy and have fun. Everyone is supportive of eachother. Different age ranges, fitness levels and no judgement. The facility has two main areas indoors and outdoors. It's big enough where you can move around to different stations and not bump into anyone and you get a personalized feeling from the coaches and trainers. By the way, the owners also conduct classes! They are not sitting in an office somewhere collecting membership dues. They are out there with you, pushing you and holding you accountable to your goals. They have different workouts everyday so you don't get bored and you are working all areas of your body. They have a kickboxing class, more boxing than kicking, that works your upper body, lower body, your core and everything in between. I've never done kickboxing and it's quickly become my favorite class. Personal training is also offered.

They have two locations, one in City of Industry and the other in Duarte. If you are looking for a fitness facility with a positive environment, a fitness family that helps support your overall mental and physical health and nutrition then you need to check Powerhouse Fitness Training out (and it's affordable!). I found Powerhouse Fitness on Instagram and after reading all the reviews and scrolling through the pictures I sent them a message and that was the best decision I have made in a quiet some time. I have battled body issues my whole life, yo-yo dieting.. blah blah.. Needless to say I haven't been comfortable with myself in some time.

My 1st day of bootcamp I thought I would die I realized I was so out of shape and my lifestyle was killing me. I couldn't run nor keep up, but just when I thought I couldn't do it Aaron and the rest of the Powerhouse family was there rooting me on. That day I quit smoking after 16 years, I promised myself I wasn't going to be embarrassed anymore and a lifestyle change was needed.

After discussing my goals of getting my body healthy and strong I realized I not only needed boot camp but individualized training to get me on track. Aaron helped set me up with a meal plan and personal training not only for myself but he now trains my 15 year old son too! My son and I now train twice a week together and I do bootcamp 2 other days a week. All the aches and pains have been worth it, I feel my body changing and getting stronger every day.

We are so happy with the support and encouragement from other members and all the trainers. I strongly encourage anyone needing a lifestyle change to try a class at Powerhouse and you will not be sorry. Let the results speak for themselves and I will see YOU...
