We booked two nights here this past weekend. Upon arrival we noticed traffic going in and out while I sat in the car while my friend checked us in. ( I was on a business call in the car) after my call I sat waiting and noticed a gentleman sitting at the bottom of the stairs, he was sitting like he was waiting for someone to pick him up. A vehicle approached he walked up to the driver side and moments later the vehicle left leaving him sitting at the steps once more. I watched this several times, my friend came back we parked our vehicle and I heard someone tell the gentleman to put his face mask on; it was the service desk person. The gentleman put it on only minutes before removing it again. He sat while we passed heading up to our room. We unloaded our bags and made sure everything worked before heading out for the evening. Our return back to Vagabond Inn wasn’t any better, we arrived only to find several men standing in front of our room smoking dope. None of them moved until I asked if this was their room. After a glass of wine and a book we called it a night, as I went to turn on a lamp that sat between the two beds I noticed a pair of handcuffs attached to a lamp. Surely after countless times of that room being cleaned the maids would have noticed and removed the dirty cuffs of at least the lamp. 1:20am someone came pounding our door, like they were being chased, begging for us to open it. After the shady stuff we had noticed on going when we arrived we decided not to open the door and say you’ve got the wrong room. After 12 minutes of pounding and yelling they left. 1:43 a fight broke out in the room next to us. A girl screamed until we pounded on the wall for them to take it somewhere else . ( we called front desk and asked if they heard anything but they said no. Silence for only a few minutes before front desk employee came out and said something to who ever was fighting outside. Hour later the female returns another fight, this time it lasted a lot longer. After that happened, the rest of the night, all we kept hearing was people coming all hours of the night knocking on the door next to the left of us. Following night, we upon arrival the complex was infested with LAPD we couldn’t get to our room for a few hours. We sat in our vehicle until an officer came and let us go up, however he said when we got up the stairs to our room that we could leave till it was over. So we didn’t get to have dinner since we were stuck in our room for the night. After 11:40 cops left, tow truck came removed a vehicle and we decided it was too late to go anywhere. That night wasn’t any different, every little while we would hear foot traffic and knocking at the room next to us door all hours of the night. I DO NOT recommend ANYONE stay here, Not until they get this drug infestation under control. Staying up all night wondering if we’re going to be ok for $71 for two beds per night isn’t worth it. The one star, is given because, well I honestly had no choice. Water pressure is awful, shower head was clogged with hard water compost. Our sheets weren’t changed but they made our bed over the sheets we slept in. Musty smell of mold, mold on walls and ceiling, non smokers room...
