FLX Kitchen & Bath — Local services in City of Ithaca

Twelve years ago we worked with a pro (Matt?) at Builders Best and ordered all of our Marvin doors and windows from them. This was a huge order. Recently the fire department had to break into our home, so we needed to replace one of the doors. After dealing with a nearly useless salesman for three weeks, we were still unsure how well the proposed replacement matched our original door, so we switched to someone who was able to use the database and contacts at Marvin to confirm a replacement door for us. We initially were not going to have them finish the inside of the door. About 30 hours after we submitted they order, we asked them to add this back. Even though it was the last step in the production process, they wouldn't do it without charging us a $200 change order. That may be Marvin policy, but they made no effort to go to bat for us even though we had spent over $30,000 with them...

I had Cristi's help designing my kitchen. I came to her with a rough draft of "I want a J shaped kitchen" with some low quality pictures that I pulled of Ikea's cabinet design webpage, and came away with this kitchen. Her design was immaculate. Bravo.

She did the cabinet design work, helped me pick out tiles, countertops, trim, helped when the a few of the cabinets had shipping damage. She couldn't have been more helpful. Give this lady a medal!

I also couldn't leave a review without mentioning the windows & doors that I purchased from this place. I had some defectively installed, removed and refunded Vinyl windows.
