First this store is truly MASSIVE expect to spend an entire afternoon there! They had a ton of options for living room sets, mix and matches, you could design your own sectional which honestly blew my mind! They gave you the option to make it as little or as big as you wanted, color and type of fabric and honestly that was our first pick. The only reason for not going that route is they have a new marketing piece called "the cuddler", I loved, I mean really loved this piece! We definitely plan getting it at a later date however, it was a tad too expensive while renting. (Just an example: the design we put together: Chase lounge ($400.00) middle seat ($200.00) and " the cuddler" ($700.00!!!) It does factor in the type and color of the material of your choosing so the price is a little expensive but, you are paying for what you want, it's 100% custom so, it's going to be pricey no matter what store you go to. Their bedroom sets were just beautiful! However, if you have a king size bed it severely limits you. We just wanted to get our furniture all in one place and I'm hoping I didn't make the wrong choice! (Side note: renting and moving to a new place, want to get all new furniture so we haven't seen it in our new space.) The only thing I'm upset about is the color wood, I like that dark romantic feeling the color of wood can make! Sadly, we couldn't go with the darker set in the style we liked the best and, that is because of the king size bed. I was stuck, I could spend almost $2,000.00 on a bedroom set with darker wood or I could spend $2,000.00 on a bedroom set and a livingroom set! So, we ultimately made a decision on a beautiful living room set (the 2nd set to the left along the windows), then our brighter wood bedroom set (it's wood with metal work and metal details not the one at the bottom of stairs but the set against the staircase. Now, customer service was really great at every step, we first entered the store he introduced himself, told us the lay out, gave a brief intro on customized pieces, told us everything is mix and match if we didn't like the way it came and he could work with us, he said on certain pieces he'd work with us $$$, offered military discount and then he answered our follow on questions and said as we are looking around if we have anymore questions either write them down or come to him, he said he'd leave us to it, he's not going to bother us and enjoy his store! Honestly, my only complaint would be while walking around he'd check in on us. So, every 15minutes he'd see us and interupt our conversation amongst ourselves and either come up to us or yell, "everything ok? Need anything? Have any questions?" It was like.. "Ughhh okay.... thanks, now leave us alone like you said you would!!" I can understand the store really is big, seeing if we were okay and being attenative however, it really was borderline annoying! We just wanted to find what we were looking for, start working on paying for everything work out details and go home! Really the store is just huge, his little "check ups" and were just too much, it felt like we were just in there forever!!!! Nice staff and nice store though, we will be coming back annoyed or not, the prices were really great and the fact that the prices could be worked out verses that's it pay it good luck finding someone else was really nice and because of our whole experience they definitely gained a customer for life! Thanks for reading my mini...
Read morePurchased a round table/4chairs in mid July, 2017. At the time, salesman, Matt was helpful. Even made a trip to my house with a sample fabric to get my ok on. The one I chose was discontinued and he didn’t know. Was told waiting time would be 3 to 6 weeks. It came in in 3 weeks. I was so pleased. I went to pick it up and the wrong table was ordered. I spoke to the owner and he said they would reorder the table and not charge the 33% restocking fee. And that they would deliver it at their expense which is $79. Matt never called me to apologize for his mistake. I called the store 3 weeks later to see if it was in yet. Matt answered the phone. I told him what poor service I had gotten and that he never even called to apologize to me which he should have done the very day he found out his mistake. He was very nasty to me on the phone. Told me he would call when the table came in. It never came in until 2nd week in October. Then I had to wait for another week for them to deliver it to me. I was without a table for 3 months. I told them that they should have put a rush on it as it was their mistake. They were quick enough to take my $900 but after that the customer service was not good. When Matt called to tell me my table top was in. I asked him where the base was. He said I already had it. All I had was 4 chairs. He also said when am I going to pick it up? I said I was told they would deliver it at no cost to me. He got very defensive. He said he would call me back in 20 minutes to let me know if they have the base. He never called me back. I called the store and he was out to lunch. I asked to speak to Jane who said they had the base there. Jane was very helpful. She put me thru to Lillie who handled the delivery. She was also very helpful. It was supposed to be delivered on 10-19-17 between 1:30 and 3:30. It was 3pm and I called the store to make sure that the table was on the truck to be delivered. Matt answered and I asked to speak to Lillie. He said she was on lunch and would have her call me back. I asked to speak to Jane then. He gave me a hard time about speaking to Jane. I told him I want to speak to Jane. He then put me thru. Jane had Lillie pick up and talk to me. It was delivered on the 19th at 3:45. The delivery guy came in and the first thing out of his mouth was I don’t know what happened and I don’t want to know. I didn’t and had not planned on saying anything to him. He was just there to deliver the table as far as I was concerned. So, apparently, they filled him in on their version of what happened. I was without a table for 3 months. That is just not right. Very poor customer service!! I would not recommend this...
Read morePlain and simple- they want your money and don't particularly care what happens after they get it. Although the salesman (Matt) was pleasant and helpful, that's where it ended. I recently purchased a table for my new home, also paid for delivery. They delivered it a week later and managed to screw the nails through the base into the top of the table- ruining the table top. After a number of phone calls (initiated by me, not her) to their customer service rep and her replies of "looking for a new table top" and possibly "refinishing & touching up" a different table top, the customer service rep "Lilly" surprisingly manages to find a top 5 days later that was in their inventory in the back the whole time. However, they would not deliver to me until "maybe the end of the week". I went to pick it up myself instead and requested at least my delivery charge ($79.00) refunded for my inconvenience and they suggested it was my fault for the "urgency" that I needed the table...what?? Good luck to anyone that buys something here! Great prices, but if there's any problem with it (even if THEY- or their delivery contractors- caused the problem), they're NOT going to care! I have an entire new home to furnish and they've just lost a customer...hope they enjoy $79.
Response to the owner: I've never been inspired to rate a business before in my life, because despite what you may think, I'm an easy going person and generally pleased with business interactions. But, here's the thing- it may have only been one purchase, but it could have been the beginning of a relationship with a customer that wants to return to your business time and time again. Instead, this purchase evolved into a complete hassle that didn't have to become so complicated. The delivery service being "Shut down" for the week shouldn't matter (plus, this was never mentioned to me until Monday afternoon)...you had the ability to bring the table from "Lackawanna" to your store in NT, so clearly you are capable of moving items without the delivery service. Typically, when an error is made on behalf of the company they figure out how to rectify this situation without blaming the customer. The table was delivered and then ruined within seconds of them placing it in my kitchen. It was sent back because I did not pay for a table with screws coming out the top. "We are really busy and have other things going on other than your table!" is not something you need to hear when requesting information about an item that is already paid for and not in your possession. Simply being apologetic and actually willing to do whatever was necessary to rectify the situation would have gone a long way. ...
