Woyshner's Flower Shop — Local services in City of Lackawanna

First and last time I ever order from here. As I ever there was a little bit of a line but I expected that as it was Valentine’s Day. As I’m standing in line there were two girls at the counter. One appeared to be new, and the other one was being EXTREMELY nasty to her. As she continued to be rude over and over again to her co worker, other customers and myself looked at each other standing there uncomfortable. I get to the front of the line give my name and they tell me my order was checked for the 17th not the 14th. I clearly remember having the conversation calling and asking if they were still taking orders for Valentine’s Day. They did offer to make them by 4pm (it was 11am when I was there to pick them up) but unfortunately that didn’t work with the plans u already made for the day. Stopped in to grab some flowers for mother's day... asked if they had anything cheaper than a $50 cut bouquet, rather than spending so much on flowers that would only last our moms and grandmas no more than a few days (a hanging basket, a small potted indoor plant, or something else cute and small). When the employee responded with "don't you love your mother enough to pay for the bouquet?", I walked right out.

So you lost out on the four items I would have purchased due to a rude employee. I gladly spent $120 at the next stop, since the employees were all wonderful there.

I'd hate to see how you take advantage of someone coming in for a funeral arrangement if this is how you handle customers on mother's day.

I'd advise taking your business literally anywhere else.

My daughter and I selected Woyshner’s Florist because my family and I have been past customers. Their staff was very accommodating with bridal shower, church ceremony, and wedding reception floral selections. The floral arrangements and bouquets were beautiful. The reason why I provided a four star rating rather than a five star rating was due to a customer service issue. At our last meeting, we were told that when the groomsmens’ boutennieres were delivered to the church, that a woman would stay to help them put them on.
