Kids Party Characters — Local services in City of Long Beach

Please do not hired this company!! Let me tell you my experience. I booked my “Hawaiian princess”with Michelle Roads, and she was actually very kind. I was immediately hooked with the Gold package as it comes with a goodie bags option and I tried to minimized stress from my daughters party by getting this package. On my mind I thought “I don’t have to worry about it” little that I know... so I called a few days before my daughters party to confirm goodie bags were included and again I spoke to Michelle and she confirmed it. The Hawaiian princess was scheduled to arrive at 4:00pm on 10/1, she texted me at 2:42pm she was on her way. 4:00pm has come and the Hawaiian princess is no where to be found, I waited a couple of minutes to text asking where was she and she didn’t answer, I called her no answer, then she texted me “8 mins away”at 4:19pm. 4:30pm she finally arrived and my boyfriend was the one who greeted her and he immediately told her you are late, her response was “nope I’m right on time”. She came inside of my house asking for a table to set up her station instead of entering with the Moana song I was promised. She was a hot mess, she was showing her underwear to everyone, the costume was definitely not big enough for her size but she didn’t even care of covering anything. Then she asked me to put the Moana’s main song, we putted on and she barely knew the song she was just smiling at the kids instead of singing!!!! I have prove of it, and goodie bags were literally a tiny mini bag with the business card, one lollipop and one balloon. It was a joke, thankfully my family and friends have a good sense of humor and we decided to just laughed about it, because it was a show and not a good one! Oh and also one of the kids asked her “where’s Maui?” She replied “he’s a looser that’s why I came by myself”, again a joke! I will never ever hired...

I gave two stars, only because Byron, our "Iron Hero" was early arriving to the party. And that's where the pros end. He had no plan or schedule to follow. I ordered 1 hr with face painting. There was my first mistake. Byron came in and asked what I wanted to do first. I figure since the kiddos were still playing games, face painting would calm things. But the birthday boy's half dinosaur(?) face paint took SO LONG. Like 10-15 min. There were 11 kids in attendance. He painted like 2 more kids, made a few swords balloons, and 35-40 minutes in, he made his way to change into his costume. But he brought the wrong costume and had to go to his car. Fine. But changing did not take 5 minutes. Again, 10-15 minutes later, he was ready. The costume was old, dirty, pilling and NOT AT ALL what it looked like in the photo. As you can see from the photo, the man on the website is wearing this plastic looking armor shoulderpads. They look great, but that's not what we got. Byron's costume was big on him, and I'm not sure what was going on with the black wrist bands?! Weird. And the kids told him so. Our character did not have time to do anything other than walk in, do a weird shimmy dance thing, and then take 2 photos. One with the birthday boy because I made him and one with another kid who was too young to care. Honestly, for $225(+$40 tip), we could have BOUGHT a sick Ironman costume and given any of our friends $50 to do a much better job. Awful waste of money. I will use this experience as a lesson in what NOT to do in the future. Shame on this company for allowing such low standards in their...

All my daughter wanted for her 5th Birthday was to meet her idol...Wonder Woman. It was extremely hard to find a company that caters to little girls in the super hero category. From the very start they were friendly and accommodating. The costumer service I received was STELLAR. Everyone went above and beyond to make my daughters day magical. When the day came Wonder Woman and Bat girl arrived dressed and with their best super hero stances and smiles. My daughters birthday was outdoors on what is so far reported the hottest day of the year. You couldn't tell it because they were all smiles and in character. My daughter was so very excited to finally meet the person she has been obsessing over. Wonder Woman made sure to give my daughter special attention and made sure she knew she was there for her. My daughter never left her side. Both woman were AMAZING. From the balloon animals to the dancing they kept the kids engaged and happy. Even the parents got in on the photo opts. My daughters day was made by this company and these women. She is still floating on cloud 9. Do yourself a favor don't look elsewhere. Through the whole process I felt they really cared about making my daughters day special because they did. Other places don't put this amount of love and effort in it they just show up to get paid. I don't ever see us using or recommending another company. I really cant thank...
