NYC’s Mac Truck — Restaurant in City of Long Beach

I am absolutely shocked by the positive reviews of this place. They must be friends and family of the owners.

We were visiting the Mac Truck at Holland Ridge Farms. We got a $17 cup of flavorless Hamburger Helper. It was terrible.

Over charging us for terrible food is one thing, but the real issue is the complete disregard for the families in their communities. This truck was in a family friendly tulip farm with children everywhere, yet they kept blasting incredibly explicit music. The “Boss” would mock anyone who asked them to turn it off. The poor guy actually doing all the work had to keep apologizing for his “boss” being a complete clown. He is an embarrassment to all managers and entrepreneurs and honestly should be ashamed of himself.

I am a huge supporter of local small businesses but we still need to weed out the ones that don’t care about our communities and the families in them. Mac Truck does not deserve your support.

Edit: I think your response says a lot about the type of person you are and the business you run, instead of addressing the issue you fabricate a story to try and make your customer look bad.

I am a Jay-Z fan, but it is not appropriate for a family friendly Flower Farm. A place where we should not have to worry about our young daughters being exposed to music that tells them their value as a human is based on how attractive they are and their sexual prowess; that they should hide and not speak until a man decides that he needs to...

Always on par, the Tendies are some of the best I’ve had (perhaps the best). They’re crispy and hold good flavor. The Mac Bites are also awesome, you get a plentiful amount of these delicious little things. Now to the Mac- the Mac is great. To say the least, it’s cheesy and comes in a good portion. The bacon Mac is worth mentioning as a runner up, but I’m a bigger fan of the Pork Mac. You couldn’t change a thing to make the pork Mac better, it’s just like this perfect cacophony of tender and flavor bursting pork mixed with cheesy mac. You really can’t beat it. I booked them for my son’s birthday party that we threw at my house. The whole process was so simple, I booked, picked the menu, they showed up with huge smiles on their faces and made the day!
