Spectrum Store — Local services in City of Mount Vernon

Wouldn’t let me return equipment because of a technicality with my account. I’ve added and removed services and returned equipment many times over the 20+ years with Spectrum /Time Warner. They were more than happy to take my money all those years, let me add services, and take/exchange/return equipment. But now because of “new security protocols” i can’t do anything. This is exactly why I’m trying to return equipment; so i can switch service providers. If they call, email, look at payments, or ask questions it’d come to my phone. It just sounds like a new tactic to prevent the removal / cancellation of services and mitigate the attrition rate. I had a very bad experience with Spectrum. After being with Verizon for so many years. I decided to switch to spectrum. They were offering a more affordable monthly payment than Verizon. However it was the biggest mistake I ever made. I signed up with them on December 5th and on December 10th they came to make the change over. Until this minute I haven't watched a single program on my TV. Nothing works not even my telephone long line. I called spectrum on several occasions to rectify this problem. Opened my account going on a year now, my representative at the time was Derrick. He was very informative about what plans etc. would best meet my needs and I have to say that I am very happy with my spectrum services. Recently my grandmother shared with me that her cable service was too high, I asked her who she was with, and she said spectrum.
