I had a facial at Radiance SkinCare which is right downstairs in the salon. This was one of the most amazing self-care experiences Iāve ever had. It makes you feel relaxed enough to get to a meditative state. I donāt even meditate but I think my soul went to heaven. Lets start with the facial itself. I feel like a lot of places are too scared to really tackle the issues of your skin. Debra is not scared and takes her time to thoroughly cleanse and address any problematic issues. Sheās very knowledgeable and loves what she does so you know youāll be getting a great service. The arm massages are amazing. Now, I usually hate massages. Iām always tense and itās hard for me to relax. She starts at your shoulders and upper arms. Then she puts a warm compress under your neck, and warm towels over your shoulders and this is when you start feeling so grateful for being born. Lol She makes everything so comfortable. Then she massages your arms and hands, and places them in some warm mitts. The lights are lowered (your eyes are covered but you can just tell. IYKYK.) and she leaves the room to let you relax for a moment. This is excellent for anyone who suffers with anxiety. After calling to reschedule my appointment due to a family emergency, the receptionist assured me that it would not be a problem and helped me reschedule. However, shortly afterward, I received a call from Debra, who informed me that my rescheduling was not acceptable due to the 24-hour cancellation policy. She mentioned that the receptionist was new and unaware of the policy.
While I understood the policy and offered to pay the cancellation fee, Debraās tone and approach were unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. Rather than accepting my willingness to pay the fee, she continued to lecture me about how Martina had missed out on two clients because of the rescheduling. This interaction felt particularly unkind and unproductive, especially since I had explained that I was dealing with a family emergency.
I understand the importance of policies and was prepared to take responsibility for the inconvenience. However, the way this situation was handled added unnecessary stress during an already challenging time. As a result, I will not be returning to this business. Professionalism and empathy are key in customer service, and unfortunately, this interaction fell short.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI walked in the salon during an emergency situation. I had a big knot on my hair at the roots , my hair was super matted. At first I was told that they canāt do it because they donāt have the tools to do so, pretty legit excuse if you donāt know what you are doing and donāt want to deal with the responsibility or have the patience to do so. However, what was even worse than that was being told that the knot wasnāt going to come off and that it had to be cut ( would have to be shaved according to them because it was right at the root). I was told that as soon as I walked in by some of the hair personnel . I was lucky to find Vivian . She kindly took care of my hair and spend the entire day patiently working through it and was able to get the knot off. She is very kind hearted but most importantly very experienced and professional. She is the only one I would trust there and if it wasnāt for her great work I would give the salon 0 stars. Do not even bother with the other ladies they are just heartless and unprofessional and certainly donāt know anything about the hair industry. You will end up in a worse situation than the one you walked in and possibly with a hair tragedy. If you go there please donāt deal with any of them...
