My visits to Holy Cow left me with mixed feelings. The first time around, I opted for their Holy Burger while my mom went for the Classic Burger. While they weren't bad, I couldn't shake the feeling that for the price, I'd rather indulge in a burger from Five Guys.
On my second visit, I decided to give their crispy chicken a shot, trying both the regular and the spicy options. Surprisingly, I found the regular crispy chicken to be more enjoyable, as the spicy variant seemed to suffer from being too drenched in sauce, leaving it rather soggy.
In all honesty, Holy Cow falls somewhere in the middle for me. While the food is decent and you won't leave disappointed, I can't say I'd enthusiastically recommend it. It's an okay option if you're in the area and craving a bite, but there are better burger joints out there.
As for Holy Cow's commitment to quality, I appreciate their use of ethically sourced meat and their efforts to cater to different dietary preferences with options like the Impossible Burger. However, in terms of taste and overall dining experience, they still have some room for...
Read moreThe nicest way to describe this Holy Cow's food would be unmemorable. The burger buns were NOT toasted and very soggy. "Seasoned fries" were NOT seasoned and inedible without ketchup. Everything was flavorless, as if the restaurant was built for the health freak who couldn't handle salt. The day's special was the "double patty burger WITH onions," as if the $8 "classic burger" didn't already contain enough chopped onions to serve three meals. Completely dead at lunch time for such as a brand new location. Pack it up and replace it with a Chick-fil-A. By the way, the 5 star reviews at this location are all fake. Who the heck are ordering trays and why are the videos all taken near the cash register showing an empty restaurant in the background. Either Holy Cow in Fleetwood is a front or they are packing up food to give out to the homeless, 'cause no real paying customers...
Read moreUpdate: For some reason, they have the last 3 times we ordered from here the chicken tenders were extremely salty. I like salt, but this was way over the top. Sorry guys don't think I am ordering again. I really did love this place!
All the food we have tried here was excellent. Chicken tenders, cheesesteaks, burgers, seasoned French fries, and onion rings. The fried tenders are awesome. They are juicy, thick, and large. I especially like the spicy tenders they have good heat, probably too much for the heat sensitive. The heat tolerant will enjoy them. The frys are well seasoned and have arrived home still crispy. I do suggest you pre-order. Your order may take a proper 20 mins to be prepared. Which is fine by me because everything tastes fresh, and to cook it fresh takes time. This has been a new local favorite, which is added into the rotation of pizza...
