My husband and I walked into Ask Design Jewelers in October 2012, thanks to our daughter and new son-in-law. Shanna (our daughter) loves her ring which was designed by Ask Design. She explained to us that one of the "perks" to getting her ring there was a free cleaning whenever she visited.

The first thing we noticed was that the customer service was very upbeat and friendly. They greeted our daughter as if she was their most valued customer. My husband and I have been thinking of getting new wedding bands. We had just celebrated 30 years of a wonderful marriage and our old bands no longer fit and we felt we wanted an upgrade.

Our daughter explained this to Martin, who is also the owner. He listened to us explain that we were unsure of what we were looking for. I knew a few things I wanted, namely a trio looking set with more sparkle. He walked me over to a beautifully well-lit display of many breathtaking choices. He listened as I explained that I needed a band that wasn’t too wide. Then the fun began…so many choices, all exquisite. I fell in love with one particular set, and when it was removed from my finger, suddenly my finger seemed empty. My husband said that the way my face lit up, that was the one for me. He then took us over to the men’s rings and we found a ring that looked like it belonged with the bands I had just had on my finger.

All during this experience the store front had other customers. We could not help but notice that everyone in that store was given attention by every professional working there. Gina, who greeted us as we came into the store, would acknowledge us each time she came within our area. She also helped with the financial aspect of finalizing the purchase when my husband and I decided this was the place that we wanted to deal with. I think I should add that we live over 100 miles from the store. So the drive, which is close to 2 hours, tells you how impressed we were with their professionalism and service.

When we went for the sizing of the rings, my husband had expressed interest in buying a new wrist watch in the near future. Kyle, who is every bit the consummate professional his father Martin is, was able to answer every question and give insight into each brand carried. Listening to concerns and needs of my husband, he showed a particular watch that may make the decision much easier.

When picking up our jewelry, they even eased our worries about insuring it with appraisals to give our insurance company. If there was a question, they had the answer and they made it so stress free. Any business will treat the customer nice because they want to “seal the deal”. Ask Design Jewelers wants more than that. They want your happiness and satisfaction. They want you to stop by again, and they make you feel valued as soon as you walk in the door!

I typically don’t write reviews, but I felt the need to share my experience at Ask Design Jewelers with others. My fiancé and I had been looking for engagements rings off and on for nearly two years. We visited jewelry stores in Seattle, Chicago area, and around Buffalo. We’ve encountered practically every jewelry buying scenario you can imagine (sales people pressuring you to buy, uncomfortable selling tactics, sales people who didn’t take you seriously, and so on). Ask Design blew every store we’ve ever visited out of the water. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed, offered a beverage, and invited to sit down with the owner. He patiently worked with us to help us find “the ring”. Nobody has ever taken the time to discover what my fiancé and I wanted in a ring. To be honest, after two years of looking for a ring, the whole process had begun to feel like a chore…Ask Design made it fun for us again. Simply put - the entire experience was perfect – I couldn’t have asked for a better environment to choose the most important piece of jewelry I will ever own.

After purchasing my ring, the entire staff at Ask Design was fabulous with any changes (ring sizing, ect), I wanted to make. I worked with Tiffany on these changes and she was just incredible – very attentive, kind, and courteous. All the work on my ring was done quickly and the results are immaculate.

I just went into the jewelry store to get a replacement battery for my husband’s watch. Initially I went a bit too early and the young asked if they could help me. I told her I just needed a battery and would be back when they opened up. I dropped off the watch and ended up walking around and found something that I didn’t think I needed but truly wanted. The young lady allowed me to try the ring on and I immediately loved it and started to cry because it was my mother’s birth stone in a style of ring she would have loved. When the clerk said the price I immediately took it off and thanked her for her time. She called to say the battery was done in the watch and that the store owner has an offer on the ring. That same day, my husband and go to pick up his watch and the same clerk has the ring available for my husband to see. I put it on and start crying because of the memory of my mother. And the offer was amazing. The owner came out and I had to thank him for such a beautiful ring and awesome offer.
