I’ve lived in Olean for over 20+ years and went to Green Acres for the first time roughly a year ago. My wife and I were impressed by the comfy feel of the small-town restaurant and I had only gone back a few times for takeout. Unfortunately, we went back on a Sunday and had to sit in the back of the establishment because the seats up front were full. The lady that was “supposed” to wait on our table walked past us numerous times while waiting on others. Frustrated, I asked another young lady to take our order. You could see the frustration on her face with the lady that was supposed to wait on us because she was busy with her own tables. I didn’t think anything of it.
Mother’s Day, I decided to take my wife for breakfast. The exact same thing happened… not a coincidence. This time another couple came in behind us and sat at the table right behind us. The waitress walked over and took their order while we sat there waiting. My wife and I left the establishment and I won’t be giving them our business. It’s hard to help the local establishments when you see things this blatant.

They were very openly friendly with the other customers, but it felt like I was the black sheep for some reason? I come from the food industry myself, so I try to be very polite & respectful to restaurant workers in general. I truly hope I did nothing to offend this server, but I sincerely I...
