Go with with exact count. Proprietor is rude with a smile. I go with my bottles clean and counted..usually from an event. They count. Their number is always way low from my figures. The man counting tells proprietor the number, the Proprietor tells him the figure amount to pay out. That figure base varies per visit. Cheating is cheating. But what I see are many homeless and extremely poor humans beings trying to collect a little cash with returns. Many of these go out collecting cans...which does clean up the neighborhoods at no cost! Yet, the people trying to purchase a little food. Pay rent. Maybe purchase medication or gasoline...are being robbed!!!!!! Alas, the wonderful facility on Tom Miller permanently closed. So this center is getting the relocated. They are taking full advantage of people for not having their belittles counted..and not posting daily base on what the bottle is paying out etc. Another Plattsburgh business predicated on robbing the client. But when you steal from the homeless and those with less...just trying to exist...it is theft! Even if it is with a smile. PS Clients are your business...so stop being rude. stop thinking a client is your employee. Work. Do your job. Plus, pay out correctly. Maybe it is time the IRS and State learn of your...

I've been redeeming my bottles and cans here for over 5 years now. Since I help clean Rt. 9, Rt. 22, and other specific areas and collect returnables from neighbors and friends to donate funds for Elmore SPCA, I usually have 100s at a time. And being a bit on the OCD side, I always clean, try to sort, and pre-count whatever I'm bringing. It helps the staff and they really appreciate it as well!!! I'm usually able to simply walk in and drop off within a few minutes as they don't have to go through everything individually!! Plus, because I've double-checked my count, sometimes I don't even have to wait at all!! This is a really efficient, clean, and well-organized place!! It deserves the effort to prepare your redeemable bottles and cans and rewards it by serving customers quickly. It even has signage stating that dirty and uncounted redeemable items can be refused!! Too many people just don't appreciate the amount of time and effort required to actually make recycling work as it's not really that profitable for them!!! But this place is one of the best and most professional...

Pre sort. Pre bag expected...and it goes quickly. Owner very nice. Staff has gotten gruff, nasty, rude. Like those bringing in bottles...product...are a bother. A waste of their time. Posted days and hours meaningless. Door locked. Nobody there often. Nothing posted to show these changes of time. +++ Count your recyclables...as they will always short you on total and cash!!!! They get paid well. No reason to be greedy and cheating the client to pocket extra money. Owner watch your staff!!!! I stopped using this center because of staff attitude and consistently cheating ...stealing...money they owe me from items I brought in. Too bad. Just another good business...
