Great Ocean Seafood Inc — Local services in City of Rochester

I would like to leave a good review for this place because the 2 gentlemen working the public market appear to care and appear to be knowledgeable. However, we bought 2 dozen oysters, 12 PEI and 12 kumomoto. Of those 2 dozen, 1 dozen was bad. Not somewhat smelly, but incredibly bad. Literally smelled like sewer. I called the shop and the lady told me that she was not responsible for the public market despite being the same company. Makes no sense. As a result, I can't support this company and can not recommend them. Reading through the reviews, there appears to be a quality issue that the owners attempt to explain away. Good fish is good fish.
