Chronic Link — Local services in City of Salamanca

Been going there for two years and was always VERY happy especially with top shelf choices until our trip this weekend. My husband and I were very excited to bring my parents along for this trip as it was their first time there. We were so excited for them to experience Chronic Link amongst other dispensaries we frequent and had actually brought them for the grand opening of the new Vandalia store (which we didn’t even go to after our experience in Salamanca). My dad picked out his packet of Weedish Fish, paid and went to the car to wait for my husband, mom and I. A few minutes later we see him being escorted back in the store by one of the men standing inside wearing a Chronic Link shirt questioning if he paid for his item. My dad is 74 years old and has a VISIBLY hard time walking and was asked to get back out of the vehicle he was in to come back in the store to check with the guy at the counter to make sure he paid for his ONE pack of $15 gummies. This ruined the experience for my dad and made us decide we will not be back and instead just get everything we need at 888, Apollo, Budz where the atmosphere is much more relaxed, friendlier and kinder!!! I understand needing security but this was not handled properly, they should’ve questioned him as he was leaving if they thought there was an issue and instead of apologizing to my dad for their mistake the guy just started yelling at the budtender across the whole dispensary that everything needs to be put in a bag. The whole experience, even just shopping before this incident happened felt like a COMPLETELY different vibe, almost “gestapo” feeling. Not sure what happened here but it wasn’t like this even a month ago when we were there...

1 of the many dispensaries located on the Seneca reservation town of Salamanca. The adjoining gas station was offering a special buy 10gal of gas and get a free preroll. From what I saw it looked like a clean well lit and well stocked store, did not have time to explore but will be in that area again in Sept and will explore it. P.S. added bonus no state taxes on gas so prices are 25 to 35 cents per gallon cheaper. UPDATE 10/5/2022. Very well stocked store and helpful staff and a nice selection of flower ranging in price from $60,$80 and $100 per ounce. Selected a $60 oz. named White Truffle and was very impressed with the quality and the weight was dead on. I've checked out at least 8 different dispensaries in the last year and Chronic Link has been the best so far. UPDATE; I'm a little disappointed, saw a strain I was looking for listed as a special for $120 an ounce, drove 2hr to get there only to be told it was $260 an ounce. And was told that the website hadn't been updated recently. When I go back in August I'll give my business to 1 of the other 20 or so dispensaries...

Avoid this place at all costs. I used to work for them, all of the bud is trash and overpriced. A majority of it will test positive for CBD and delta 8 since a majority of it is fake weed that won’t even get you high. Don’t get me started on the disposables and carts, they are beyond fake. They have a street dealer as their source. None of the product is tested, it all tests high in pesticides and other junk you don’t want to be inhaling. Chronic link is by far the worst dispensary in this country, the owners and management treat the staff like thieves. They treat the customers like thieves. They only care about making a dollar, oh btw, don’t take any advice or recommendations from anyone who works here.
