Sunnyside Gardens — Local services in City of Saratoga Springs

First of all, there is very little parking! I was told to wait until someone left and that would have taken a while. I found a small dirt path and parked there. Little find know it was a back entrance to a home. An old woman driving a small tractor told me there Was no parking there. I did not know because there was no sign whatsoever. There is no sign that said private road, no sign that said private driveway. She sat on her tractor and refused to move while we were pulling out, causing my daughter-in-law to scratch your vehicle very large stack of rotted pallets. The plastic pumpkins in the “hall of flames” were looking pretty sad. Most of them look like they’re carved by a child and a lot of of them were broken. The hotdog with sauce was terrible and one had to be thrown out because you couldn’t even eat it! The sauce was absolutely horrid. The “graveyard” stones looked like a 16 year old wrote them! They weren’t cute only absolutely stupid! Much nicer decorations could be found at a private home than at this nasty money pit! It’s not worth it. And, some of the decorations they were selling you could buy at Home Depot for a quarter of the price they were charging! I paid less than $30 at HOME DEPOT, Sunnyside Garden was charging $70 same thing I had! If you want, gorgeous Halloween decorations, BUY AT HOME DEPOT FOR MUCH LESS!! All in all, the place is a dump! A dump, where you spend your hard earned money for garbage! FIND A BETTER PLACE TO GO THAN SUNNYSIDE GARDEN!!! There’s NOTHING SUNNY about it! BTW, it’s quite...

*UPDATE. Apparently this place thinks it’s OK to lie in their response . They asked for papers as a requirement to allow My service dog entry. They Conveniently left this out in their response as they are aware it is illegal. Obviously this place is very deceitful. Had They just asked the two questions They were allowed to ask none of this would’ve happened.

Visited this awful place with my service animal and my family. I was denied entrance because of my service Animal. This is against federal law and discrimination. I am disgusted at how the employees treat their customers. I will never come back here again. I had to call the sheriff because of this. An awful place to bring your family to pick pumpkins. Hanehan farms is located close by and has better customer service and a great selection of pumpkins and is family friendly...

Very high quality vegetable plants and decorative plants too. Very large selection of both heirloom strains and more common ones. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Reasonable / competitive prices.

Two downsides: not dog friendly, even though majority of business is outside; and, unfortunately, some customers, while picking through flats, don't bother to put plants back in their flats at all, resulting in lost id tags / plants that appear to be one kind but when in fact they're another; or, put dissimilar plants in same flat. This has lead to our ending up with some interesting combinations over the years.

We shop there every year; have, for around two decades, and plan to continue buying mostly anything we don't start from seed...
