Taste of CHINA — Restaurant in City of Saratoga Springs

We have been here a number of times over the last year or so and started off being happy with the food but it has deteriorated. The last time we went, it was obvious we were given old, reheated food. Both of us had chicken dishes (sesame chicken and General Tso). They were extremely dry and tough with hardly any sauce (dried up) and the taste was horrible. I had shrimp toast, which was burnt. Obviously been fried and then fried again. We suspect this was food that had been left from the day before and just reheated (this was a lunchtime order, so not long after they had opened).

If I had been in a position to take the food back, I would have, but I wasn't. We will never go there again! I am always eager to eat leftovers the next day...I couldn't bring myself to do that and had to...

This isn’t the first time ordering but it’s definitely the last! We always get Generaltoes and yes it’s a little 🌶 spicy this time it was so hot it burned my teeth and tongue couldn’t take another bite! It’s never been this hot! HOT not spicy 🥵 HOT! They definitely way over did it I couldn’t taste the chicken the sauce the rice nothing but HEAT and burning mouth! It was so upsetting since it was our dinner we just threw it away and didn’t even bother eating tonight since our mouths hurt! And my BF is up with heart burn! I have never ever gotten it like this before ever! No way are we going back especially driving 20mins to get it to get it home and it’s not even eatable! Traveling for baseball & wanted to try chinese around. Called a couple of places & came to the conclusion that Taste of CHINA was the best for my family and I since we are extra picky. Ordering online was easy , walked in and it smelled pretty good. Got my food and headed back to My Airbnb , boneless spare ribs were not to our liking, honestly were lacking flavor.
