Graystone Apartments — Local services in City of Schenectady

I called to inquire about renting an apartment. I was routed to a call center that sounded like it was loud and in a foreign county. I asked if it was a call center and was told it was their main office. yeah right. If it is,God forbid someone has to call a main office call center in a distant land if an emergency maintenance issue happens. I tell them I want to know if they have any apartments at Greystone available soon. I get told I can leave a message. I ask why I have to leave a message if I am already talking to a human. She misunderstood. Then I have to repeat what I want again. Then she tells me there is an apartment that costs more than advertised on their website. I ask about this discrepancy. She asks me what my budget is. My budget is what was advertised that is why I called. I don't appreciate this method of doing business and trying to get over on people. With the amount of rent you are trying to charge you can hire an American and have a consistent price without trying to get over on people. If you think these types of practices are going to save you money you are wrong. This is a huge red flag not to...

I have been living at Graystone since 2019. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. The staff for one are amazing especially Jane in the office. She helps get things done and moving forward in a great timely manner. She was awesome with setting up apartment showings and getting me into my own apartment from the start. She is very helpful with each and every step to showing the apartment to signing the lease. She cares about her residents and help as much as she can and where she can! Jane is so great, she went above and beyond for me and my family 😆 she even helped me walk my ferret when i had a broken hip last year due to falling down a manhole!
