I went there to buy Indian clothing for my Nikkah, with my in-laws the owner made the whole experience miserable. We were prepared to buy four different clothes, but the way we were handled made us want to leave right away. There are many other stores in Schenectady, so save your money and shop elsewhere. My daughter and I went to shreyas today. We tried ordering clothing online for a friend's wedding and kept getting items that didn't fit well. The staff here took their time and explained everything. They were great and picked colors that complimented us and explained how to wear everything. They didn't pressure us to buy anything and they didn't pressure us to buy lehengas that were too expensive. They understood we don't go to Indian weddings frequently! Went to the curtain store across the street and was treated like garbage. Employees are unprofessional and rude, don’t even greet you when you walk in. They all just sit down on their phones and ignore you. Nobody asks if you need help or anything. They have displays curtains up that they don’t even have in stock, and when you ask for something they point to where to find it yet they don’t have proper walk ways to access the curtains. The store is also very unorganized and messy. Would not recommend to come here...
