I would like to start this review by saying that I will not be giving my business to this place ever again. Let that be the prelude to what's to come.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. My screen was shattered for over 2 years, as basically the week I got the phone, I dropped it. Recently, I finally dropped it hard enough to kill half the screen, so I had to seek out someone to fix it. I work close by Wireless Plus, so I looked at the reviews. Close to 1k reviews and still at almost 5 stars? Who wouldn't go there? This was my first mistake.
I called ahead to get a price on my phone, and was informed to come in later to get things settled for an order. I showed up, and I was informed there are two versions of the screen, what I can only describe as Chinesium and official. Of course, the Chinese knockoff is cheaper, and I didn't plan on keeping this phone for any longer than I needed. I was struggling to pick a screen, when the individual selling me the item said "There is no difference in the screen, you won't even be able to tell." so I asked if I planned on trading in my phone, would they be able to tell the difference, and the man said "Nope, it looks just as official" so I foolishly took his word and placed the order for the Chinese screen.
A day or so later, I dropped off my phone to get it repaired, with a quote of about an hour, but I had errands to run so whatever. Almost 3 hours later, I come back and it's still not done, explained to me that they had to pick off my shattered screen pieces . So then I'm told 30 more minutes. I wait, come back, still not done. Over 4 hours later , I finally get my phone, and I IMMEDIATELY notice how bad the screen is and how it looked so much different. There was a massive black border on my entire screen and the sensitivity was off. I asked what was going on and they said I got what I paid for, but I explained that I was told there was no difference. They basically brushed it off and said if didn't like it, I could get the official instead. I was already over 200 dollars in, so I left, pissed off, but with a functional phone... Sorta.
I guess whoever fixed my phone "rushed" (4 hours) to get it done because my phones back fell off due to lack of glue, and it kept shutting off randomly from a shortage in the "new" screen, a sign of a poor job. So I come back, and there's a different person there. Honestly, the he was the only competent person I talked to there. I explained that I was blatantly lied to about the screen looking no different, and the best part is he knew exactly who I spoke to before without searching for my order or prying for info. I also explained that it took over 4 hours total to get my 1 hour screen replaced, for him to explain that it was due to being backed up in orders or generally being busy, NOT because my screen was "Too shattered". I was explained to, at this point, that most Chinese screens infact do not have a difference, but it just so happened that my phone didn't have a matching screen, something that should have absolutely been told to me when buying. He also advised that he knew why my phone was turning off, after one look at it, saying that they botched my repair, and offered to reassemble it with the same screen, but properly. Alternatively, the nice gentleman informed me that I could just pay the difference for the official screen, about 100 dollars more, and they'd immediately order it. So I paid the difference for the new official screen, and it came in about 3 days later. I was quoted an hour (again) and that they would call us when it's done. This was again, repaired by the 4 hour guy. No call after an hour, so we gave it about 15 more minutes before calling them, and they said "oh, it's done". Great, no more dealing with them. So I go get my phone, and here we are.
The official screen DOES work well, but what should have been a 1 time, 1 hour trip to repair my phone turned into a 3 trip, week long experience involving my phone being with them for over 6 hours between...

Also I went and spent $200 on another phone that they claim is brand new and the next day not even 24 hours this "new phone" just froze and I have to wait for it to die in order to turn it back on.. I've been in this store at LEAST 15 times and EVERY TIME I've been in there there's new ppl complaining about how there phone isn't working. I guarantee u ur gonna c ppl complaining about something u purchased there and have a attitude and make it seem like it is ur fault. I went to get a case and a tempered screen protector. First the prices were outrages. Ive been in the distribution side of the business and 20 to 25 dollara for cases they only pay 4 dollars for is crazy. The tempered glass they sold me doesnt even go to my phone but when i asked them they told me that it was made specifically for my phone. They do help you install the glass but to me is so you dont get to see its generic.with that said, for an emergency when you have no othwr choice this place ia the place to go. But if you have the option to take a bus or cab do it. Your better off going to a flag ship store and payong what they chatge because it will be the same price as this generic merch they sell.
