You can find fresh vegetables, fruits, dry foods etc. You can also find whole frozen fish (like tilapia, ruhu fish, carp, hilsha fish etc) but there is no fish cutter located at this place. I go to this market regularly on Friday because that is when new fresh vegetables arrive. You can buy many kinds of vegetables loved by Burmese. Despite the high prices, you can buy rare-find Burmese vegetables and fruits like Durian, Kin-pon-chin and SuuPote as well. You can find many South East Asian, Chinese and Indian ingredients. I’m a local here and I love this store. I’ve been going there for at least a decade now. But please do something about the people who are outside the store, harassing the shoppers everyday. Every single time, there will be a group of men outside the store, asking for money and if you don’t give them attention, they curse you out.
