The Village Mutt — Local services in Claremont

Today was the our first visit at the village mut. And i have to say my experience was..... WONDERFUL!!! I brought my 100ibs pit/lab mix who suffers from hip dysplasia, and he was able to walk up the steps into the bath tub without a problem! The owner was so sweet and helpful. My dog is very picky with what he eats, but she went out of her way to find him a treat he would love. She provided us with clean towls, an apron, soap, conditioner, and a facial soap. The dog blow dryer was epic! The village mut is not only amazing for large dogs but all dog sizes and breeds. My dog sprocket and i were even invited to her dogs birthday party! Before i left i was able to buy a cute bandana for my dog, get information on treats and prices, and she even gave my dogs a few treat bag samples for free!! My dog was so clean and smelled so good. (He usually stinks!) The best part, the visit didn't hurt my wallet! If you want a great experience, and a clean dog, this is where you should go.

I highly recommend this establishment. When you first walk in, it’s a very small pet supplies/dog wash. It only has three tubs but I can assure you the environment will speak for itself. What I really liked about this dog wash was that it does have one tub in a separate room for any reactive dogs. Once you begin your dog wash, they have all the supplies you may need to wash your pet. They have an amazing selection of dog shampoo that smell incredible one of my favorite products that they have is a mist that you spray on your dog after their bath, and it left my dog smelling for the entire month of December going into January. My dog was soft for an entire month. She smelled incredible, the products at the village mutt are amazing. Also another great thing about the village mutt is there prices when I went in early December it was $20 to wash my pet. Went here for the first time, you get welcomed right when you walk in. If you’re a first time client like me they tell you everything and let you use a whole bottle of shampoo, they have leave in conditioner and a ton of fragrances you can use that smell so good. Their shampoo is from all natural products as well. They have two self service tubs and one bath for a groomer that is there. This place has dryers too so you can dry your pet or you can just stick to towel dry. The owner is super sweet and friendly. And if you have an aggressive pet just call them and they will accommodate for you. Also call before you go sometimes the owner goes to events and closes the store down, but all it takes is a quick phone call to see if they are open.
