
Iām having a really rough time writing this review as I want to love everything but Iāve had too many issues. I have come here 4 times for piercings they were great each time to get work done. Great staff and welcoming when you come in. My issues come from follow up visits. I have walked in for services a few time afterwards like for an inflamed helix Pickering they offered to size up my jewelry when I called. I go down I forgot my id and was just there days ago and they didnāt tell me I needed to fill out all new paperwork and supply it again for new jewelry before I made the trip over. The piecer at the time and the staff were really unhelpful and I just needed relief for the incredibly swollen and painful piercing. They turned me away. I called and spoke to the manager who says they could have just sold me the jewelry which I did ask and they said they couldnāt. So I got my id and went back down and she took care of it. I had an $85 piece of jewelry break after a month so be careful on expensive pieces. And then today called to get my pieces downsized as it was time and they offered me to come back for a downsizing service. Went in and didnāt have time went back again didnāt have time. I work late but was told to be in before 8 and they can do it. Come in and again itās a little after 7:30 I donāt live or work close to this location and I was turned away yet again. I ended up buying new jewelry from them to just do it myself at home and they sold me sizes they guessed would work because they arenāt the piercers but the sizes look like they might work. Iāve never swapped out my piercings before this is all new to me so I hope I do it right and donāt mess it up but damn it is too hard to get any aftercare services...

We did a lot of research and decided to give Laughing Buddha a call to make sure everything would work out okay BEFORE we made the very long drive and promised my daughter her gift. During the call we were very clear in mentioning that she was age 7 and that it would be her second set. The employee informed us that as long as the cartilage was grown in properly and we had a Birth Certificate and photo ID ( they agreed her yearbook was okay) that we would have no problems proceeding with the piercings. My daughter was excited for two weeks and the day after her birthday we set out on the 2 hour+ drive. When we arrived they told us that they would not do the piercing unless she was age 12. I mentioned we had a long call detailing everything but informed us that WE must not have mentioned it was a second set of piercings ( Even though that was the whole point of the original call and had a lengthy conversation about it being okay depending on the cartilage growth). Needless to say my daughter was very sad about not receiving her birthday present. Im totally fine with their policies, the problem I have is the employees dont seem to all be on the same page concerning what their policies are. I gave up a full days wages / gas money / and daughters promised birthday gift because of the confusion. Pegging the mistake on us was insult to injury.

Due to several issues, none of which being the fault of the company (ie. multiple missed delivery attempts and notifications by the recipient and then tampering during international shipping.) Iām pretty sure they ended up having to fill that order three different times. Fast forward to mid November I had finally been given my gift. ā¦And it wasnāt the item I had been wanting, the initial recipient had ordered the wrong item. And by this point we were no longer in contact. While I probably shouldnāt have been surprised, I was still very VERY sad. Despite being certain nothing could be done to rectify the issue, not to mention being super embarrassed, I called the company ā¦just to double check. Fully expecting them to tell me this was not their problem (cause, like, it really shouldnāt have been). Needless to say I ended up speaking with Ashley. She was not only extremely helpful, but so so kind. Laughing Buddha (and Ashley), you have been a shining light in my otherwise dark 2022. I cannot thank...
