My family were loyal customers to the in-house barber. We supported him through his schooling to become a barber and at each place of employment. Often tipping him an amount more than the charged price of service because it was well deserved. His current place of employment at the haberdashery is now a 49 minute drive from our house but well worth the time. He is passionate and talented, to say the least, at his trade. It now takes about three weeks for our schedules to align for an appointment. Our three appointments today were canceled with 3 1/2 hours notice due to my boys’ school moving to distance learning for two weeks. The distance learning decision was decided five days ago because four students tested positive for Covid. The school did a very thorough job of contact tracing and quarantined another teachers and 120 students due to potential exposure. The risk of our exposure is no greater and no less than anyone else in the community. None of which are either of my children. This rating and review was published because of the poor business decisions made in our situation. If the decision was made due to our local school moving to remote learning, then notifying us with a need to reschedule should’ve been made days earlier giving us time to make other plans. As a business owner, I understand the importance of communication, the value of loyal customers and the respect that they deserve. The person in charge of this decision obviously has no idea about these types of invaluable business practices by showing no respect to your most loyal customers and the lack of timely decision making and communication. And if the same person making this decision is the owner, who is on the Claremore City Council, I hope the citizens of Claremore take note of the poor planning, poor communication and lack of respect for loyal customers in his personal business. We will never step foot in The...

One has a bigger beard than mine so he will not be discussed. He is cool but highlights the fact that I am folicly challenged and I don't like that feeling. The lady, on the other hand, is nothing shy of goddess stature. Amazingly helpful and extremely knowledgeable on how to walk you out of the store looking like a model who just won the Oklahoma Lotto. (She has obviously had tons of practice!) Go in. Set down on the leather couch. Chat with the owners. And buy local every chance you get!.. The Haberdashery is definitely a one of a kind experience that Claremore...
Read moreThis is more to let the owner know his responce may be costing him customers. This may be a great store I dont know, and won't be finding out. I found it through Google looking up cigar shops Clearmore. Seen reviews that doesn't have many but was a great store. so was going to go check it out, till I read a review from Corvette Blvd. The review didn't turn me off to the store. I knew by other reviews to expect a small cigar selection. But the sarcastic responce from owner made me figure maybe I too was too stupid to use Google also and shouldn't bother...
