This place is absolutely horrible and appalling. There is a very mean, snotty, pretty sure RACIST waitress that works there that absolutely REFUSED to seat us at a table for reasons we are unclear of. Seeing as she glared at my African-American daughter the entire time we were ordering and was very snotty to her yet treated everyone else nicely, Im assuming she is most likely racist. Why else weren't we allowed to be seated at a table and eat our food there??? No one was acting inappropriate in any manner. We were told to get our food to go. We approached the Owner/Manager of this establishment and informed him of the waitress' refusal to seat us. He said "Well, I wasn't out here to see it so I don't know what to tell you."!!!! He wasn't even apologetic about it. There was a couple seated at a table that saw the entire thing and that woman was very upset and said she would never eat there again after witnessing that. She pointed out that it seemed like a dislike due to skin color. So we weren't the only ones that saw this and felt this way. On top of the horrible service and poor management the place is absolutely filthy and unorganized. Very over priced for "Nursing home" type of food. Not to mention the baby cockroach that was crawling in the bathroom. Yuck! My wife has referred literally hundreds of guests to this place as she is the GM of a large hotel chain in Claremore. After that experience she will do nothing but make sure people do not waste their time nor their money at that...

I’ve ordered here several times, last night like any other time previous we placed an order online. They don’t make refunds for app orders- even if they don’t have the stuff to make it- they didn’t fulfill the order correctly aside from the missing items- which they left us credit for that they write in a book.

When I called they have no mangers to speak to. my food was cold and soggy. mind you it was done early and we walked into our house before it was suppose to be done with the food in hand- I got well the food went from The warmer to the bag-

I’ve ordered what we previously ordered and it was all cold and soggy- small in proportions compared to several previous orders. Any thing breaded was majority breading vs what the actual food it was breaded.

I’ve never ordered and ate in- it’s always been take out I live about 6 minutes from the diner and normally our food is fairly hot when we get home. For what you expect with a take out order.

The reason I gave 3 stars vs the 1 star service I got last night was because of previous times I’ve eaten there. I am unsure if the poor service and unorganized staff was due to it being the weekend and having no manager however I do hope this reaches the proper owner/ manager to figure out what...

I wanted to like this place, I really, really did. It looks great on the inside, the staff was friendly, and it's in a great location in downtown Claremore. Disclaimer: I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy and that's the only menu item I've ever tried at Boomerang so maybe it's not all bad. Also, none of my review reflects the staff or cooks' decisions (this is a message for the owner or whatever corporate entity makes the decisions) But bottom line is they take the time to pound and season a real seasoned steak, batter it and fry it in house and its GOOD... But why on earth would you use instant potatoes instead of real mashed potatoes and why wouldn't you just make real homeade gravy? The potatoes seemed like you used water in the mix instead of milk... I've literally had potato soup thicker than what I was served at this location. I know it might cost a little bit more but I guarantee you could charge a dollar or two more on the menu and the customer would understand and appreciate the boost in quality. You guys did the hard part very well and you didn't even try on the easy part, which makes zero sense and comes off as just...

Yummy little spot we came across on our way from Tulsa to Vinita, Oklahoma. Food was good definitely 50s style. Staff was very friendly and everything came out quick and hot! The rolls pictured are offered in dessert form covered in powdered sugar. We did not get them but if you taste the roll plain you'll know you need them powdered sugar they give that kind of feel! Fried mushrooms are so good, husband had the onion ring portion of the appetizer and he enjoyed them. The chicken bites were the perfect amount and the fries were good, I added hush puppies to the order because, well... Hush puppies. Husband had Elvins platter with fish and chicken tenders, he thoroughly enjoyed the fish and the tenders are hand battered, you can never wrong with hand battered tenders. If you haven't been don't sleep on this spot.

The food was pretty awesome. The prices of the regular food is great! The prices of the appetizers a little much even though you get plenty. We really loved the look of the diner. It was our first time we were not to sure how it all worked. They leave the ticket on the table with codes of what you ordered no prices and you have to go up to pay. Our server came back several times before we ordered and once after we had received our food. She never asked if we ould like to tried that fried pie! So the customer service area could use a bit of work. We were the only ones in there when we first arrived and I noticed food under some tables. So now that the rules are down, you get your food, you have your codes, you go and pay. So enjoy a step back into the 50's&60's.

This place is great, really cool decor and amazing food to back it up. We got the 50/50 fried pickles and mushrooms, and they were the best I've ever had. Most places you can tell they're frozen, Boomerangs definately batters them fresh. They also accomodated my vegetarian diet with an amazing veggie omlete. And if theyre making their fresh pocket pie things. GET THEM. I about died at how good they are!
