The two stars is because my wife's sandwich was good. This was the first time eating from the Pink House and it was a little disappointing. I did order my food over the phone to take a enjoy elsewhere with my wife.
My wife's Reuben was good with no issue, mine however, the complaint is the attempt to correct an improperly made sandwich. After the sandwich was cut they realized they put tomatoes on the sandwich and removed what they could leaving the internals of the tomatoes on the sandwich. Shame on the cook for not reading the ticket and shame on who ever removed it because luckily I'm not allergic to tomatoes. You should be more cautious of your corner cutting because someone could be allergic to the next thing you try and sneak off.
Next issue I had was the desserts, the fudge in a cup was bad and didn't make sense. There were chunks of graham cracker and nuts in it when it didn't call out nuts according to what I read, another allergy alert that could kill someone with a nut allergy. The chocolate cake I ordered was not cake at all but some pastry with mousse and Cool whip (you can taste the store bought, kinda sad to use store bought when it's so easy to make and for the price), this could have been a misunderstanding over the phone so, oh well but the fudge was the big problem.
I waited years to try this place and doubt I'll ever return because when someone doesn't care about properly maintaining cooking space with cross contamination and bad serving practices of serving incorrect food intentionally it puts a sour taste in my mouth. I hope you don't get...
Read moreIf I could leave zero stars, I would. This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. I took my two daughters and two granddaughters for lunch. They were busy and that’s fine we waited 20 minutes which was no problem. Next we waited 20 minutes just to get drink and order taken and I thought that’s not good but my 3 year old granddaughter wanted a “tea party” so we were patiently waiting . We finally got drinks but after being there an hour and 15 minutes we still did not get our food. By this time both granddaughters are very hungry and crying , the waitress never even came by to check on us . At this point we decided to leave so we could feed the children. We told the waitress we were very upset and leaving and her response was ‘ we’re busy and short handed. While I understand this can happen we also know the casserole is made beforehand and all that had to be done was to put it on a plate and heat it up. I feel the waitress was not apologetic at all and upon leaving we noticed several open tables and most everyone had their food, even people who arrived after us. This is wasted time I will never get back. Needless to say, I...
Read moreThis is a little girls dream, tea time as a princess, but for an adult on lunch time schedule with 6 friends it’s a nightmare. The biggest complaint is seating. The venue is very limited on seating and while they do their best to accommodate all guests in the best way possible, I don’t enjoy sitting on top of the stranger next to me. You are seated so closely together that you can’t even whisper without the stranger at the table next to you hearing. We went this day to have a girls lunch and we ended up barely even really speaking to each other outside of the very basic conversation. At one point we ended up just all getting on a group text message at our table just to conversation! Parking is limited, but it’s not impossible. The staff all seem to like their jobs and are very welcoming and friendly. The food is actually pretty good, nothing out of this world but it’s good and consistently good. All in all, if you don’t care about your personal conversations or space this...
