United States Postal Service — Local services in Clarkdale

I need to get a new passport and I live in Clarkdale, AZ. Last time we got passports it was at the courthouse off of hwy. 260. I see that they are available from our Clarkdale post office......but after reading the reviews of others and recalling my own negative experiences with Katie and one other postal worker there, I will gladly go to Prescott or wherever I must to get new passports. I have actually written to the Postmaster General in the past, due to the rudeness and outright oppositional behavior of Katie and the younger woman who works there. They have cost me money by returning merchandise (when I have paid extra for 2-day shipping )from one of my vendors. I am glad I read the other reviews of the personnel in our little town's post office, before deciding to get our new passports. It validates my impression of them and lets me know it isn't only me that they treat with so little respect. Seems like someone in power needs to evaluate this situation and replace the grumpy, rude postal clerks with people who actually enjoy working with the public....(who does, by the way, pay...

Small town sweet, professional and quick, the Clarkdale Post Office is staffed by an efficient, friendly and thoughtful crew. I am grateful for their service, and impressed at how they know all of the residents of the 86324. They always go above and beyond for me, always super helpful and friendly. In the "historic district" we do not get mail service to our homes, so our PO box is an important link to the outside world and we find ourselves at the post office often. We ship packages nearly exclusively through the USPS, for its convenience, speed and pricing. I know folks who make a special trip to Clarkdale from outlying towns simply for the quick and friendly service there, as well as obtaining passports, which they make a very painless process. Jimmy, Kirsten and Mary are all wonderful, and so were the previous staff...

Absolutely the worst ever!!!! I would give no stars if I could. I have lived in many different cities and states this is by far the worst Postal Service I’ve come across…. Our bills if we get them get to our home after the due dates…. Extremely frustrating!!! This has been going on now for years and is getting worse!!!! We receive mail for at least 4 other addresses on a regular basis… there are magazines we have received one issue out of 10!! On the same note we get magazines for other people monthly!! What is going on Clarkdale???? We now have a different carrier in the last few weeks who is giving us someone else’s mail that is not even close to our address including what looks like important bills… not sure what can be done about this situation but...
