Don't let "hotdogs" scare you away! I'm not a huge fan of hot dogs, although Mexican style dogs are among the best. A coworker brought one back to the office and I have to admit it looked quite tasty. Honestly though, they also serve Birria Tacos... and why on earth anyone would order a hot dog when birria tacos are an option is beyond me. I placed a pick-up order and 15 minutes later picked up 4 supremely delicious, savory, crispy, well dressed tacos to go. They were spectacular - I could live on those tacos, seriously. We got a couple tacos, and a sonoran hotdog They brought us chips and salsa. The salsa tasted a bit like marinara sauce and the chips were so salty. You could see a thick layer of salt on them. I had to take a napkin to wipe off the salt.
We got a queso birria taco and a cabesa taco. Both were good but also on the salty side.
The hotdog was $5 and it was pretty good for the price. I think the hotdog was a little small for the amount of toppings and size of bun. Was I impressed, no, would I get it for $5 again…ugh maybe.
