To be totally honest, this store is a ton of fun to pick through. You never know what you are going to find, and most of the time it's something you didn't even know you were looking for. The selection ranges from antiques to modern, kids to elderly, collectors to pack-rats. I love Looking Glass because it's a lot larger than it looks, and just when you think you've seen everything there, well, you turn around and find another rack or shelf. It's just plain out fun, spend a couple of hours snooping, and walk out with some cool goodies. It's consignment, not thrift, so don't heckle the owners about prices, they do the best they can and offer you plenty of deals. If you go there and don't have fun, then you have no sense of humor, because this store is interesting and set up to amuse and create intrigue. Plus, they have some higher-end goods that are hard to find, and some one-of-a-kind items that you'll wish you didn't pass up. Go, enjoy, but bring cash... You'll certainly find something you just have...

See what I found at the Looking Glass Consignment store....Clarksburg, WV while at my first ever visit of the Italian Festival.

I was standing outside for a long time waiting for Bev to finish looking inside. I turn around after standing outside for maybe an hour with feet and back getting sore and see through it the front window in a corner space....

... saw this awesome looking West Virginia clock...cut out of oak wood.

I am impressed with the detail it took to not only cut the clock out (likely with ban saw) but also the details of the bird & leaves. Turning the clock over I can see the work involved on leaves & bird. And detail of sides/edgesn etc.

I bought it not even sure the clock itself worked. Just so Impressed with the woodwork...

Treasure trove!

I made my most recent trip into this amazing shop during the West Virginia Clarksburg Italian Heritage Festival. A quick sweep through, but definitely need a few hours in this store just to take in everything! 2 floors of consigned love all separated by categories.

Clothing downstairs. So many different racks! Handbags, accessories and tons more!

On the main floor, jewelry, cartoon characters, Coca-Cola items…so much to see! My favorite area had telephones of many eras.

If you want to find something unique, you will definitely find it here. Will return and allow myself a ton of time!
