First thing I would have to say, is my experience with Audio-Specialist has been EXCELLENT. By far, the best experience I've had during any purchase I've ever had. There are the tangibles that I can point out in the enjoyment of my experience with Audio-Specialist; the quality of products, the quality of work, the professionalism.
But when it comes Value, there are some things that are intangible that mean that much more when it comes to the money you spend. The thing I appreciated the most is Rob's and his guys is they understood what I really wanted. They understood what i was seeking out of an audio system for my vehicle (GMC Yukon). He took the time to not only listen, but truly wanted to understand what I wanted in my purchase. Being a novelist when it comes to Car Audio, I was seeking EXPERT ADVICE to what I truly was looking for. And I definitely found that here.
Not only Rob, but all the gentleman here found no problem at all with taking the time to explain to me things that I did not quite understand, and answer questions that I had, helping me make the best decision.
Customer service in a lot of places is a thing of the past, but NOT HERE. It was obvious that customer service is very important to everyone that works here. I truly appreciate the quality of products they have at different price ranges. I appreciated the fact of if you were there to spend a little or a lot, you still received the same amount of respect and customer service that you would expect when spending your own hard-earned money.
Over 2 months of being in the local area (do to work reasons), I did not only make one, but two purchases from them for various pieces of equipment to include, amplifiers, subwoofers and speakers coax and component (all Hertz Mille Pro). The system that I purchased, by far exceeded my expectations. Great sound quality and beautiful clean install. I'm so excited, and happy with the quality of products I purchased, and the install, I can't wait to bring my second vehicle over here for them to do it again. Despite the fact, I live in Augusta Georgia, I am more than willing, (AND WILL) make the trip to Clarksville Tennessee, for them to hook up my Mercedes.
Again, it does not matter if you're spending a little or lot of money. You will definitely receive an awesome experience with any purchase that you will make at...
Read moreUPDATE Please review the owners comments, the lack of customer service skills and unprofessionalism him and his staff displayed. I hope you all can get a glimpse of that in how he chose to respond to my review.
If I call to inquire on the status of my car how would I know it was just completed 10 minutes prior to my call unless i'm informed of that on the phone. As if you would have the pleasure of even receiving business from me again.
As a new customer, how would you feel if an hour passes after dropping you car off to them receiving a call just to ask, what service you needed to get done?? first red flag
Let’s keep in mind, I was quoted a price and required to put down half the amount due weeks before my appointment date. what I requested was paid for and documented in their book/calendar.
After a few hours past I called to inquire on the status of my car and the guy who answers(happens to be the OWNER) states” yes it’s ready”. And I ask was anyone going to call me and he informs me that he doesn’t even know what I was getting done to my car.
So my question is why are you answering the phone??
I arrive to pick up my car, The owner happens to be the only one up front, I’m not not greeted by the owner, doesn’t stop to say it will be a second or anything completely ignored me until I asked for assistance.
I then proceeded to tell him about my experience with his company and he provided me with an excuse and a personal issue he was experiencing. The personal issue is completely understandable and I feel in these situations in a place of bussiness, either you should close for the day or have someone in place able to conduct bussiness as usual. There was a lack of communication among the staff and poor customer service.
I just ask others to be aware of these places with good reviews and poor customer service, no one apologized and the service I received I’m not completely happy with it. I would not recommend to anyone for...
Read moreAudio Specialists replaced an old (1998), custom cassette, am/fm sound system in my 1968 VW Karmann Ghia coupe with a Kenwood Excelon unit and four new Kenwood speakers. All work was neatly done and in an extremely timely manner. The installers discovered some poorly wired components and some damaged wires. These were repaired/replaced without charge. They also did some work that I requested that was unrelated to the sound system. All staff that I encountered were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful…not attempting to up-sell. I hope to have the system in my 1961 VW Karmann Ghia cabriolet upgraded by Auto Specialist in the near future. My system was not elaborate, expensive, nor fancy…pretty basic…but the same attention to detail and aesthetics were observed as if I’d spent thousands.
Well…...three months have passed since I submitted this review. Audio Specialists has now completed the installation of a new sound system in my 1961 Karmann Ghia Cabriolet. The Kenwood Excelon KDC-X305 CD-Receiver looks great in the dash and the new Kenwood speakers (two new mid-range and a new woofer paired with my existing Kenwood tweeters) sound beautiful in the small cabin space afforded by the Ghia. The Audio Specialists utilized my existing, outboard amplifier and the new speaker grills match the interior perfectly. If you want a truly professional looking and sounding system in your pride ride look no further. Drive out to Trenton Road...
