I hate complaining or writing bad reviews, it is not something that I do, but I feel that this needs to be said.
First let me say that our first impression was great. Everyone was friendly and they worked with us but after we made our initial purchase, everything went down hill.
First, our promised delivery date was not followed through, and we never got a call about a delay. We were told that day (a Monday) between 1-5, and when 5:30 came we called to see where they were and we were told that we were not even on the schedule after being told earlier they would be there. Okay? So after a lot of back and forth calls, they came Thursday. Which Thursday would have been fine had we of been told that from that beginning. Monday we expected them to arrive and broke down our old set and moved it.
We also had to order one of the bedroom pieces because it wasn't in stock. Since I was hesitant to make the actual purchase at that time because it wasn't complete, the sales guy said that he would borrow a piece from layaway and once the ordered piece came in, he would replace that layaway with it. That way we could have the whole set delivered at once. That didn't happen either. When they delivered the set and we asked about that, we were informed that the two people we worked that whole layaway deal with, said that conversation never happened. So basically, we were told we were liars to save their own behinds. This really upset me. Anyone could understand why.
When the partial set was delivered, we were told we would have the other missing piece next Thursday. Next Thursday came with no delicery. So we called towards the end of the day (3:30) and we were given an attitude about how they can't help that there are snow storms up north and that there are delays in their shipment. Well, I truly understand that. I do. What I don't understand is why we didn't get a call letting us know that it would be delayed. Especially since we waited at home all day for them to arrive. We were then told they have to call like 150 customers about this delay but apparently we were not apart of that equation. Okay?
Through this whole process, we had been extremely nice, yet firm on the fact that we were not being treated like customers who just spent $1,600 there. At this point, I just want to return all the items. And do not get me started on the AcceptanceNow aspect of this whole ordeal but I'll spare this review since it's a separate entity. All I know is that I asked a lot of questions, confirmed our discussions, and still couldn't get deals done the way they were promised.
Our experience has been terrible. Maybe it was a fluke thing, and this store is just not equipped to handle quality customer service. For me, that entire store has given the company bad face and they have not tried to make it right at all. There are more details to this review but to spare a longer novel, I'll refrain.
This is just our experience. I am not saying to not buy with Rooms For Less, but I am informing others of what we went through so maybe they can ensure they don't go through it too. And maybe to help ensure that this store and its associates do not handle their customers this way in the future.
To Rooms For Less: Do not make promises you cannot deliver and if you do, please just inform customers honestly and professionally. Make it right when you put customers...

I told the guy my situation. the house I was supposed to move into was furnished, so before moving from Georgia I sold everything only to find out the day before my move in date the property was no longer available, two weeks later i found a house and needed furniture... he was telling me which ones were In stock and which ones weren't... fINALLY after making my decision, he tells me I'm sorry I thought we had that one in stock but looks like we don't so I chose next best "in stock couch" only to find out that one he claimed to be in stock wasn't in stock either.... so now I chose a more expensive sectional he promises this one will be on the truck tomorrow, so I would get it Friday afternoon of Saturday morning!! Prints out my "estimate" for need to take it to the girls in the back to finalize my contract and paperwork get back there ended up being there for an hour halfway down the contracts she goes to show me the two mattresses I was getting for my children weren't $99 like he quotes it was $295 each I said oh no no no i'm not paying that for two tiny mattresses and a boxspring well it's the mattress pad that we require you have. FINALLY said just take it off all I want is the couch finish the paperwork and get out of here. Finally finish in the paperwork out the door expecting my couch to be delivered tomorrow afternoon or Saturday morning well Saturday afternoon rolls by and still no couch so Ivw designated two days now waiting on a couch that no one had the decency of even picking the phone up to let me know I wasn't gonna be getting so I call the furniture store lady answer I explain what's going on she said that's three or four weeks out and I said no ma'am he told me he would be here Friday the latest to be Saturday well I'm gonna have him call you back hour later he calls me trying to tell me that all four of the couches they came on the truck where damaged so much that they could even be a temporary couch need to remind you I got no phone call. All I got from them was I'm sorry I wish there were something we can do so I said just reimburse me my money well you'll have to come to the store to get your money back. After arriving to the store at 3 o'clock in the afternoon I walk in neither one of the two girls in the back are there the lady told me I just have to come back I said there's no way I'm coming back I live too far away finally the girl shows up I get reimbursed the money.. the worst customer service I've ever seen in my life the furniture is overpriced and who knows if you're going to get it or not. If you shop at the store I hope you have better...

MARCH My partner and I bought furniture for our home in early March (the first week). We bought beautiful furniture and knew it would come in 4-6weeks later. APRIL April 22th comes around which is past the 4-6 weeks of when it should have been delivered. This is when we would have our bed, dresser, nightstand delivered, but we were missing another item. We learned later that the bed and nightstand were damaged so it would take another 4-6 weeks to get them. We were upset because we were going to have to wait another two months without a bed/furniture and continue sleeping on an air mattress. We asked about priority shipping which they don't have. They can't even check the quality of the furniture before shipping it to you (so if it is damaged you won't know until they try delivering it to you). We talked to them about how they can make this right and well they gave us $100? back then said they'd give us free shipping for the remaining items (why would we pay for shipping for items that were damaged??). MAY Anyways, we ended up getting a refund from them for our mattress and went to a different mattress store later that week (they got us our mattress the next day!!! Great experience there!). We got our mattress much sooner than we got the bed frame. By some time in May we finally received the missing item (rails for the bed) so we could have our entire bed frame delivered. JUNE Unfortunately, there was no nightstand yet.. so we are currently caught up.. we are in midway JUNE and we don't have our nightstand. I called Rooms for Less on June 12th to see when we would get our nightstand that we've been wanting since March.. they told me that we would get a call to have it delivered on 6/18 well we haven't gotten that call yet. We are moving soon and want our nightstand asap.. So at the end of the story, the furniture is good quality i would say but the service is AWFUL. The team was hesitant to help us out when we were dealing with this whole mess. I would never recommend this place to others because who knows when you'd receive your items. /: I hope we get our nightstand soon so we never have to reach out to rooms for...
