Tita Boba — Restaurant in Clarksville

When I drove up to the shop at 4pm there was a sign that said they were closed. I was about to drive away but a worker took the sign down and unlocked the doors. I walked in and was immediately not welcomed as the workers were all sitting down and staring at me, as if I walked in on there lunch break, making me feel uncomfortable.

I ordered the pumpkin spice with dalgona with boba (small/$7.39). As the worker (Marcus) was making my drink, he overfilled the dalgona (coffee cream) on the cup and tried scooping out but ended up using his fingers (no gloves) to wipe the cream off the rim. It was disappointing to see and he immediately made eye contact with me after he did that. There was also no water in the water station.

I took two sips of My boba drink and was extremely disappointed. It was watery and not cold, the little bit of ice cubes that was used melted so quickly. Just imagine a drink that sits out for 30 minutes. I refused to drink it and waited to get home to put in freezer. First time customer and I don’t feel motivated to return. However, staff was really sweet. I don’t think the quality of my drink was their fault bc they have a system - the business needs better quality ice, and a better refrigeration system for the milk. As you can see in my pic, my drink doesn’t have sweat which means it was never cold...

The boba is always delicious and the place is so cute, but the staff often make us feel like they're annoyed or don't want to be there. I appreciate their reward system since we come pretty often, however something seems to not be working with the birthday rewards since this is the 2nd year I didnt receive mine. I like that they now have smaller sizes for kids, but you can't get them as a slush, and you can only choose from a few flavors. Today I got my favorite pina colada slush and also tried the seasonal horchata which was so good! We also love the Jasmine and brown sugar...
