I bought a used truck from this place. Had a major oil leak and transmission issues. They agreed to fix them. The oil leak is not 100% fixed and now burns a ton of oil. The transmission they agreed to replace tge torque converter and discovered the transmission was rebuilt a year prior and built to tow. So they put it back together with the bad part and had me pick up the truck. Didn't even offer for me to pay the difference for the bigger converter. Tony the sales manager is the one who agreed to make these repairs and had them put it back together not fixed. He now claims he wants to get me in a truck around 9k instead of the 14500 so he can put the cost of repairs on my next truck. I would have been better off fixing my vehicle I was replacing over buying from bauman. It was one run around story after another. Service department even noted the transmission issue and now they are denying it since the guy who told me about it is no longer with them. The whole situation is so messed up. I fell victim and paid 15k for a truck that should never have been sold on the lot. It was Tony's buddies truck so I'm sure there is alot more to the story I don't know. I have proof of everything I have said in this review. Been a few weeks and I still haven't heard about a different truck or a follow up. The truck has the shuddering every day since I picked it up and blowing smoke everyday when I 1st start it up. They had it over 4 months to attempt to fix it and failed. I even told him to buy it back and I'd buy something else from him and this was BEFORE any repairs were done. The truck needed front rotors, pad, struts and had broken sway bar links when I bought it and I knew about those issues. It was a week later when I got the parts I discovered the other major issues. Bottom line is, beware buying used cars in genoa, tiffin or fremont. I test drive at the other locations as well and I found the major issues before purchasing so I walked away. Again, I have proof of everything and telling my personal experience. I will never buy from any baumans again because of the run around and lies from tony.

Update, I just found out that they lied about my bank. Told me they required 1000 down payment and gap insurance. My bank loan department said they didn't request either one...

I have a 82k HHR SS, I recently took it in to get the power steering module reset and was told that it wasn't able to be done and no longer available at GM and would have to get a used one installed and bring it back and they would take care of me( Lie #1) because the Tech said that when he hooked his equipment up it read the module wasn't responding and I had no power steering. Installed used part brought it back and was charged full price at first then discounted it, I paid for it and drove it to the corner and the light came back saying service EPS? Then started to stall and front brakes felt like they were pulsating trying to stop the vehicle I made it home and called the service department and a service manager stated that the tech had a problem because the steering wheel was a little off center but thought it took the program. The service manager did quote me around a $600 or a wheel alignment and that would take care of my off-centered steering wheel,(took me 30minutes) I explained to him I would recenter it myself and bring it back. Just dropped it off and explained to the service manager that I'm not in a hurry but please have a technician that is more familiar with my type of vehicle the only thing that was wrong when I dropped it off was I had no power steering. Came in for first service on my new 2023 Silverado I requested my tires rotated and only after watching them remove and then place front tires back on truck did I then ask why they were not rotating the tire I was given a answer because the truck only has 5,000 miles I then states I requested them to be done as I rotate my tires every 5000 miles.Only after this was my tires done as requested. I also made sure that my front end be greased which they said would be done after getting truck home I found several grease fittings that were not touched, brought my truck back to dealer to have work complete right. A routine LOF and tire rotation took 2 trips to dealer and having to watch and then check work to get it done right. Very poor how can I trust that my truck will ever be serviced right if a LOF tire rotation can not be completed correctly. I feel that if my truck did have a service issue in the future how can i be sure it will be fixed right and work requested actually be done. You pay 10s of thousands for these vehicles and can not count on good...
