I know Verizon corporate does not care about service. Just billing. Which is why I wanted to leave a review about the N 2nd Street, Clearfield verizon store. I would not even BE a verizon customer except for the total attention to detail and service at this location ..(I have been to others, but Mama always said if you can't say something nice...). The staff here is not an "app" or a "support line," but a full service operation who literally cares about your communication needs in a very fast world. I can walk in there, or sometimes call them on their weekend off, and I get taken care of regardless of whatever problem I am having. Friends... this is WHY you still have brick and mortar locations... because Calvin and the guys DO for their customers what a soulless ginormous corporation CAN'T. I pay what I pay because I have backup in the cellular world I dont always understand. It rocks to have a friendly face putting you back on your tricycle when you've wrecked it!

Read moreWhat a long day! I lost my phone. Well, actually I left it on the counter of a local business in the former Kmart Plaza, and someone “kindly” helped themselves to it... A huge shout out and thank you to Calvin and Caleb at Wireless Made Simple, formerly the Phone Guys, for their level headed assistance with a frantic me! They activated the Find My Phone app on my iPad, which identified my phone as being in a location in a residential place in Hillsdale. They recommended that I call Clearfield Boro Police to try and retrieve it from there. Thanks to Officer Hoover who promptly drove there and knocked on the door and got my phone. He called me and said my phone was at the Clearfield Borough Police Station. Shop local and support the personally owned businesses who will be there for you! Read moreI am beyond frustrated! I came in for a simple gift for my daughter and was completely oversold by the manager, Scott. He kept running around saying free this, free that. Then after about 2 hours we found out about all of the extra costs that were never mentioned. Then when I got my bill, we had device charges for every device. While Scott had previously given me his number and told me to reach out to him with any issues, when I reached out the week before Christmas regarding over $300 in wrong charges, he gave me a basic 1-800 number to call and refused to help me further.
