Ritz Theater — Local services in Clearfield

My family and I have been going to the Ritz for many, many.....years! And many more to come. Fun family oriented place. My kids (My husband and I also..lol) love the snack bar. And even with prices going up with other things they always think of families first to keep it at reasonable rates. The owner and staff are wonderful...always smiling and ready to get you what you need before the start of the show. They keep the line moving with a smile. They have matinees for families. There's just something for everyone affordable. Let's keep the Ritz around for ever! It's also a historic landmark in Clearfield, pa downtown. My family and I waited outside for about 20mins to see Moana 2 in 24 degree weather. Okay not a big deal. But once we got in with several other people. The seats were completely packed full. No where to sit at all. We and other people told them that there was no seats left and if we could have a refund. Owner stated that was not his problem and he wasn’t going to give us a refund back. So myself and my family. Had to sit on the floor in the back of the theater with my kids in the lane so they could watch the movie. It was totally unacceptable. Not very happy for our first time being back. Maybe next time keep track of your tickets you sell and how many seats you have available. There’s a lot of unhappy people that had to sit in the back of the theater...

Out of all the years I lived in Clearfield this was and still is the only movie theater that I like to go to. Out of the twenty to thirty different movie theaters that I have ever been to across America the Ritz still has my favorite popcorn and the only popcorn that I will eat. Everyone there is crazy friendly, polite and respectful! It also does not cost you a arm, a leg and a couple of organs to go see the movies here. The concessions here are extremely affordable to everyone. The Ritz Theather is a gift/blessing from the movie...
