I normally do not write reviews on Google, but for this place, I had to make an exception. I'll start by saying that the actual store itself is fine, it's the pharmacy that's the problem. EVERY SINGLE TIME I VISIT THIS PHARMACY THERE IS SOME SORT OF ISSUE.
If you only ever occasionally pick up a prescription then it might be OK, but if you get prescriptions on a monthly basis, stay FAR away from this place.
They are constantly giving me problems about my son's medications, making me wait longer than I should to get a refill. Saying that I'm trying to pick it up early when in fact, it's the same amount of time as always, or in some cases, even longer. I have resorted to calling Walgreens corporate office because of this several times. All it gets me is an "I'm very sorry sir" and a call from the store manager apologizing and offering me a $10 gift card. If they were really so sorry they could stop giving me hard time about my sons prescriptions and rectify their customer service problem.
On one occasion they even gave me the completely wrong medicine. I was refilling my monthly supply of muscle relaxers and they decided I should have blood pressure medicine instead. Again, I called the corporate office and got the same results.
All of the pharmacy technicians there have a SEVERE attitude problem (especially the short, fat Hispanic woman). They always greet you with a smug attitude and act like it's killing them to do their job. And god forbid there's a problem with your order because then the attitude kicks into overdrive.
I will say that the male Pharmacist is very nice and professional, but he is by far the only one.
Safe to say I will never be using this, or any Walgreens, ever again. I'm switching to Publix from now on. Hopefully they care more about their customers...
Read moreOn 3-24-2023 Monday my doctors office called in a prescription to the Walgreen pharmacy on N. Belcher Rd. in the morning hours. on Monday late afternoon I went to Walgreens pharmacy to pick up my prescription only to be told by the clerk that my prescription would not be delivered to Walgreens until Tuesday afternoon after 2 PM. I questioned the clerk as to why only to be told that because the CVS which is also located on Sunset point Road that went out of business has caused Walgreens to have a back load in prescriptions and that they farm out the prescriptions to a clearinghouse so I waited till Wednesday morning to pick up my prescription only to be told again the prescription is not in should be on the truck this afternoon after 2 PM my question is what does Walgreens and CVS have to do with each other and their prescriptions, I’m going to pursue this matter further with the BBB and try to reach out to the Walgreens corporate office and take this to the news media. My main concern is that I’ve been three days without my medication. Thank God it’s not heart medication and it makes me wonder what do the older people do, but have to wait 2 to 3 to 4 days for their prescriptions to show up at Walgreens when it was never...
Read morePharmacist Dave ought to be FIRED! He had to stay until 9:40, 40 minutes past closing after he RACIALLY and demographically discriminated me and my doctor and REFUSED to give me my medication under every false pretense he could think of. His staff is incompetent, and his credentials should be revoked as you can tell he does not care for his clientele, or their well-being. He also unprofessionally spoke to my husband in a demeaning manor when asking about the so called issues, and violated my HIPPA by yelling my medicinal information at the already closed gate, out of a side door. He had no choice but to lawfully fill my prescription and took it out on me, my husband, and my doctor. If I were unintelligent, I would have let this go unnoticed. But I know better, expect better, and will always receive better! Formal complaints and lawsuits have been made. I pray nobody has to come in contact with the staff of pharmacist again. This is a terrible injustice, that can never...
