Started going there for wound care on my feet. I was referred to go there to see Dr Nickles, who was whom I was wanting to see because of all the good things that I heard about him from a colleague of mine. I was told that he was not available, but Dr Lynch could see me within a couple of days. With the wounds that I had, I didn't have much choice on it. They never did ask me for my medical records from my previous podiatrist. And on my second visit, Dr Lynch did not listen to me when I told her that the medication that she prescribed me made my toe inflamed, which is why I had to stop using it. She immediately told me; "How about you just do what I tell you to do because I'm the doctor". Just because you're a doctor does not mean that you know everything; she didn't believe anything that I had to say, and treated me like I was an idiot. An ego like that is the best way to lose patients. I gave her another chance, and nothing changed. I went today, and then found out just how rude the nurses even are. After Dr Lynch got done with me, I told the nurse about my previous experience with Dr Lynch the other week and how she didn't listen to me and didn't care about the fact that my toe had gotten inflamed because of medication that she prescribed to me. And the nurse told me that it's my choice if I don't want to listen, but they'll stop treating me if I don't. Then the receptionist (who was the only kind one there) came in and asked me a question about a scheduling for an appointment. I told her I had to look at my schedule. So I pulled out my phone and started looking at my schedule, and that was when the nurse turned around asked me if I needed help, I said no, and she told me; "I have other people that need to use this room and I have to get it cleaned up, so you have to leave now". Yeah, no. I am the current patient in this room. I am paying you people to help me. And ever since day one all of you have treated extremely rude with a doctor that has the ego the size of Mount Everest. I will not be going back there again. But now I have huge hospital bills from them for them treating me like I was nothing. I do not know about any of the other staff that work for this hospital, but the ones that I was obligated to deal with do not care about their patients. They get you in, they voice their opinion without listening to you, they chastise you for speaking and cut you off, and then push you out when it's done as if...
Read moreI came here only bc I didn't have enough gas to get down to the urgent care in Davenport and all the urgent cares in Clinton requires you to pay at least $100 just to be seen. I have a UTI that was untreated bc I couldn't afford another trip to the urgent care and it went from bad to worse. Around 4am today while I was at work, my legs felt like they were on fire and like they were being crushed. The pain is so bad it hurts to walk/stand. Dr. Chen was my doctor (the only one there) and from the moment he walked in the room up until he left, he was completely dismissive of what I was saying. I was telling him about my legs and he said that "tight jeans can cause pressure on the nerves in your legs". My pants look tight, but they aren't. I've been wearing pants like this since I was 18 and never had an issue. Like bruh, I'm not risking complete financial ruin just for you to tell me that my pants are too fking tight. When he came back, all he told me was that my urine came back "slightly" abnormal and that I was getting antibiotics. That's it. That's literally all he said. Didn't even tell me it was a UTI. The nurse, Emma, is the one who told me it was a UTI bc at that point, I was just crying, confused, and really pissed off. What kind of doctor is so cold and dismissive that they don't even tell you your diagnosis??? I will NEVER come back here. I will die before I ever step foot in there again. The only positive and nice thing I have to say is that the nurse, Emma, was so kind and caring. I really appreciated having her. I wish more people were like her. Nurses are definitely essential and deserve to paid more than they are. The healthcare system in this country is a fking joke and a lot of doctors need sensitivity training bc this isn't how you treat...
Read moreAbout 6 months ago I started seeing Dr Parasomy. She is a internal medicine doctor. I was told since I have couple chronic illnesses a internist would be better & help me a lot. BIGGEST MISTAKE!! Her appointments are 15mins no matter what. She'll walk out of room. How can you be a Internal medicine doctor & limit ur appointments for 15mins. Also you can only discuss two things during visit. Lol. I had trouble getting meds. No extra work would be done. I've been going without my one medicine because they wouldn't appeal it & they put purpose as lower back. Its for my neck. When I had Osteomyelitis it ate part of neck bone. Im not supposed to hurt. This is what internal medicine doc is supposed to be like. Internal Medicine â Internal medicine physicians typically treat adults and specialize in the prevention, diagnosis and management of disease and chronic conditions. General Practice â General Practice physicians are like family practice physicians and can treat patients of any gender or age I'll leave her nurses alone because one does her job. Other one is just nasty mean SHE DOES THIS IN 15MINS? Emergency room almost killed me. They said its all in ur head. I went to er over a month multiple times. Same thing happened every time. This went on for over a month. If it wasn't for my Rheumatologist, I would be dead. She did labs & found out my port was infected. Docs at IA city told me a tiny bit more up my neck, I would of died. NOW IM IN CONSENT PAIN. MARCH I GET TO SEE A SURGEON. THANKS MERYONE. YOU MADE MY HEALTH EVEN...
