Managers are a joke, either nowhere to be seen or they have the worst attitude possible. Sue at front desk is a HORRIBLE representative, she stares and demeans you if you have questions as if she isn't in "CUSTOMER. SERVICE." Most of the employees are a joke, it's like a daycare no one supervises. They have a heavily abusive assistant store manager, who tramples their nice actual store manager, who does either way to much and makes every situation uncomfortable, or again she demeans you and treats you like a toddler. There's so many teenagers that just walk around, half of them will look at you and actively hide in front of you. I don't know how many times regional has been there but it's very apparent that no one seems to care and there absolutely has to be a lawsuit waiting; with how unresponsive they are about issues whether it's scheduling, points people shouldn't have getting them fired, demeaning and outright disgusting in how they treat people. Sisters worked there for a week and within that she's seen her manager once, her trainer once, and been alone 3/5 of the days. Coming from personal experience I have visibly watched this store crumble into what essentially feels like an industrial clubhouse, people just standing around, pop music blasting, obvious high teens ignoring customers, and not high teens avoiding customers and their jobs. I watched a paint employee come back from lunch (had fast food), she was there for 2 minutes and left the other girl alone again and went outside to a Facebook marketplace meet up, during her shift. Read moreBought a new dishwasher from the store in Clinton IA that was supposedly on sale that samsung says was sold to home depot as an open box. Parts were missing, contacted the store, they claimed to call dealer support and ordered the part. After 3 weeks with no parts called the store again. No return call from the store. Called a 3rd time and was given the dealer support number. Dealer support doesn't take parts orders from consumers. Dealer support transferred me to customer support. Samsung has no record of any contact with home depot about the serial number of my unit. Called the store they, claim dealer support canceled the order because I was unpleasant. Clinton store said they would resubmit the order. 7 weeks after purchase I still have not received the parts. Called samsung again, they claim still no order from the store. Spent an hour and a half on hold and talking with samsung to get an order started and register the unit on their system. Now after using the dishwasher 5 times it doesn't dry the dishes, and the led that says the cycle is complete no longer works. Home depot in Clinton doesn't care, it's my problem. Every time I call the store I get a different story from them. The management at the Clinton IA store are all liars and they wonder why they have low reviews for this store. Read moreThey stole our money!!!!! Spent $700 on new stove and installation.They sent a stove that had issues immediately. I called the next day and they said they'd call me back. They didn't. I called a few days later explaining situation again saying I never got a call back. Manager JOHN said " You didn't call within two days this isnt our problem call fridgidaire." Which is * cuz I called the next day. 6 months and 4 dangerous stove replacements later... Fridgeidaire and Homedepot are aware of the stove model with known electrical issues and gas knobs that turn without being pushed. They took both stoves away on last weeks attempted exchange. I do not have a stove at all now, frigidaire won't send another. Homedepot REFUSES to give us our money back. Home Depot corporate said AMANADA at this store has the power to give a full refund. She also has the power to allow us to get a different model which we also tried to do but was told no. Which isn't okay due to the situation. But this pathetic excuse for a manager refuses even though they have stolen our money by not providing us with what we purchased. So all that money out the window .
