Super One Foods — Local services in Cloquet

Horrible service here! It’s really a shame because I’d love to support a smaller business rather than a huge chain but I gave these guys two tries and they struck out both times (I don’t give a third chance!). First strike: I visited deli about 2:00PM and asked for turkey sliced thicker than what they had presliced, I was told they don’t slice to order unless you call ahead, they stated they had already cleaned their slicers that day. I’ll also add that the presliced meat in the case looked disgusting - old and dried out - I’m not sure who would want it. I contacted customer service online and they promptly replied that this was not their policy and the store personnel would be corrected. She also offered a gift card. When I tried to pick up the gift card at customer service desk about 4 weeks later, the clerk there spent five minutes unloading a PACKED junk drawer onto the counter, tossing aside other gift cards, drivers licenses (shouldn't those be kept in a locked location?) , what looked to be credit cards (those DEFINITELY should be kept in a locked location!) , and all kinds of random junk in an attempt to find my gift card. She was unsuccessful in finding the card she had “definitely seen” there and suggested I “call the person who left the card”. I frustratingly replied that I wasn’t going to do that, shook my head, and walked out -...

I have been shopping at superone most of my life. Superone has always had a good selection of goods. Clean and organized store and great employees. Today 1/18/2025 I was walking through the produce section at 6:20 am when I noticed an employee eating small tomatoes that are already pre priced and the employee put the package of tomatoes back on the tomato rack for someone to buy. Mind you, like I said, these tomatoes are already priced, not weighted at the checkout. I would consider this theft by employee. I will think twice before buying these tomatoes again. I would normally give superone a great review, but this is unacceptable. If a customer was doing this, It would not end...

I just want to say thank you to all your staff people like Rebecca and Rosie, Carmen, sandy, leslie, Amber, v e e an especially Bob who's the manager for being there for me when my wife Mary was in the hospital.
