The Citrus Fair in Cloverdale is one of the best fairs around, and you should definitely visit if you have the chance.
The fairgrounds are kept clean, and overall are very well organized. Upon walking in the through the ticket booth and security checkpoint (metal detectors and bag inspection), you’ll be able to browse through many different vendors, citrus displays, and shop booths ranging from cable companies, Cutco, local fudge and almond roasting, clothing, woodworking, caricature, and much more.
There is a great variety of rides, including some that children under 36” tall are allowed to ride. The majority of rides do require children to be above the 36” height however.
After walking through the booths and entering the grounds, you’ll be able to peruse the many different food vendors, beer booths, 4H demonstrations, and fair rides/games. You name it, they have it.
The prices are as to be expected, with food ranging from $7-$20 per item or plate, and beer and drinks ranging from $7-$10 per beverage.
There are multiple restrooms located towards the entrance of the fairgrounds, and navigating the park is easy due to the entire thing being on pavement (making wheelchairs and strollers for children easy to use). Parking at the school behind the grounds costs $10, and is well worth the money considering the walk you might have to endure from the street.
This is one of the best fairs around, and absolutely a place you could spend one full day at. We highly...

Ron came to the rescue to help us get the lock off and we did find our keys btw haha. Bathrooms are amazing and clean and the grounds are clean and well put together. The staff is very chilled and accommodating and they also have storage here at a very reasonable rate. When I used it I paid 100 bucks month and it was a life saver. Great resource for the full timer and a 1 week stay under 400 all utilities included and full hook up yes please!!!!...
Read moreThe Cloverdale Citrus Fair is always on President's Day weekend, every year. A small but packed carnival, food booths galore. Sadly, it seems like the citrus exhibit gets smaller each year, and rarely has anything but oranges. Back in the day, it also featured lemons, limes, and the occasional grapefruit. Fun parade Saturday morning. The art exhibits seem less fun than years past, as well over 50% of entries received a first prize blue ribbon. Kinda cheapens the meaning of first place. Overall,...
