0 stars if able. This place sucks. Bowling machines always brake, oiling machine has a problem that the owner doesnāt care to fix, guarantee some of the lanes arenāt within USBC limits. Most of the staff is awesome (Cheyanne and Geneva) however the owner is the worst Iāve seen (in my opinion). The only time he is in here is when heās getting drunk at the bar (that he also brings his kid to). They raised all the prices on everything (bowling, lineage for league, and even the trashy lockers!) however no improvements were made at all! None of the reset buttons work for the machines, most of the fans at the ball returns don't work, thereās not a single tv to watch any sports, the āarcadeā room is just a bunch of broken games that donāt work. I wish they had comment cards to fill out so we could leave reviews for the owner, but he doesnāt care what the patrons have to say, as long as heās making money. Everyone has been complaining about the oil machine but the owner doesnāt care to ask the league bowlers for suggestions. Ive spent more money than almost anyone here, and I guarantee he doesnāt know my name. The pro shop is awesome and you wonāt find a better pro shop operator. He should move to a better location. Better yet, he should...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place has so much to offer! I love bowling alleys to begin with, but this has to be my favorite. Full breakdown of food, atmosphere, and games below.
Food: Red Door brewery has a small restaurant in this alley. And it is AMAZING! Everyone is incredibly nice and friendly. The bartender on shift, Mckayla, was the sweetest. They have a ton of options on tap and a full menu. I am vegetarian, so it is great to see a delicious option that isn't a salad. I ordered the veggie burger probably more than I should have, but it was so good!
Atmosphere: This place is like walking into the 50s with modern upgrades. I love the old fashioned decor. There are little details that really show how much the owner cares about respecting the heritage of this place. Everyone is so friendly and positive. It is a very clean bowling alley - which anyone who has been where there are a lot of kids should know how big a thing that is.
Games: The bowling is, obviously, a blast. I'm awful at it, but it was still very fun! If there is any problems, the staff are very fast to correct any issues. There is also arcade games and billiards for any inbetweens.
Full love this place. Next time I go through Clovis, this is the first place...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA bit understaffed in the restaurant as there was one employee taking orders, running orders AND bussing. Yet, there were 3 employees at the bowling lanes register. I don't know their setup here, but I work in food service part-time and anytime I have down time I'm helping my colleagues. She seemed a little overwhelmed & rightfully so! The food was very mediocre. Chicken wings were dry so didn't finish 'em, the Dirty Fries were initially lukewarm so had another order made & they were ok, the Turkey Melt (not pic'd) had a nice flavor to it but still just ok & the Pretzel, Beer Cheese & Cheese Curds were ok with no cheese pull at all. Overall just basic concession stand food.
The business hours aren't clear. Google says they're open 'til 11p, but Facebook and the door says 10p. The mgr says, they open 'til 11p, but if it's starts slowing down they go ahead and close up early. Naturally, it's going to slow down at closing time bc we're aware the business is about to close so this would be the practice for every night, right? Kindly update the business hours to reflect thee exact closing time as this is misleading.
All in all my family & I very much so enjoyed each other and our...
