Paleteria Vip — Restaurant in Clovis

I went to VIP La Michoacana for the first time today. They have a great selection of Mexican "treats". They have several different flavors of ice cream and popsicles. An assortment of drinks that anyone can enjoy. The service was pretty fast and friendly, the music was great, and the atmosphere was very festive. I ordered a banana split with butter pecan, cheesecake and mango ice cream. I was so excited that I made the mistake of pairing the flavors to compliment each other. None the less, I enjoyed my banana split. The sweetness of the butter pecan and cheesecake drowned out the flavor of the mango ice cream, as it could have been better paired with the strawberry and maybe lime ice creams to compliment it. But that was my mistake and I still enjoyed it. The booths and tables were a little on the small side for me, and the chairs were a bit uncomfortable, but all in all my friend and I had fun. I'll be giving VIP La Michoacana more of my business in the future for sure. ¡Y que vive...

This is new in Clovis NM. Their ice cream is delicious!!! So many unique flavors INCLUDING Tequila 🤯! They go beyond ice cream and have snacks. I got the Mamey ice cream flavor and I really enjoyed it. It had a bit of a sandy texture and it was a lightly fruited flavor with a bit of a coconut flavor with it. Don't be intimidated with the unknown, the staff are super welcoming and will answer any questions. They'll give you samples too if you aren't sure what ice cream flavor you want. I love local businesses with local owners. These guys are great. The owner is very kind and took time to explain the menu and options available. They are new so there are some changes still on going. I am told the menu is being revamped currently.

As far as the products, we got a couple of ice cream cones and they were delicious! Excellent flavor and consistency. Dozens of flavors to choose from. Waffle cone was our choice but a traditional cone is available as well.
