Food Depot — Local services in Cochran

I was very impressed with the store it was clean lots of great deals and with a good selection of groceries across the board . I also thought at the end when I was at check out my cart was full and only 98 bucks was a big wow...In which I asked “Do you have to add on a 10 % tag on pricing ... to as I heard that most food depot stores do ? “The cashier said no because this store is in a rural area they don’t tag 10 % on the price ..That was a real good thing to point out ! 😀 People were friendly also it was a very nice shopping experience with fresh produce and meat with more selections than I had before .. This store looks great and better prices than some stores on most things I feel ...I will be back .. Love it that we have another store here in Cochran that gives a person a bigger selection to choose from .. If out of something in one store go check out the other store ... Thank You Food Depot for opening up here...

I'm giving this Food Depot a 1 Star because Expired Food Should Not Be On The Shelves Nor The Meet! As much as I love to shop at a Food Depot, this is not one I would shop at on a regular because they have too many Expired or Food about to go out of date within the next couple days. Also molded cheese. This is the only Food Depot I've been too that I have to check the date on anything I buy to make sure it's not Expired. This is very Poor management and I always have problems with getting assistance at the store. Theirs only 1 black dark skin guy that's normal up front that will make sure you found everything ok and if not will try to assist. He's the only good customer service they have. The others just look at you like a dumb deer in headlights. This place really needs to do better before they're the next store in that location to go out...

Very disappointed that the manager is not enforcing cashiers to wear their masks (or wear them properly. Last week I went in and the cashier had her mask pulled completely below her chin. Went in early this morning and the cashier had her mask below her nose. My husband told her that the mask doesn't do much good below her nose and she shot him a dirty look and continued ringing us up, not bothering to fix her mask. We went in early so we could avoid crowds. I am immune compromised and my husband is 66 years old. My husband and I always mask up properly.

Even though I like the new Food Depot selection of items and the convenience to my house, I won't go back in until they correct their employee...
