I would like to give them an zero. I would not recommend this business at all. I ordered an refrigerator, delivery driver came out to deliver on Tuesday before Labor day. They said they took measurements and could not make the delivery. Bob called me said that they had an refrigerator that could fit and that I owed them additional money for another delivery and price difference between the two refrigerators. We talked about the first delivery and he agreed for a less delivery charge for the second delivery, I called him and said okay just charge my card, he said that they would try on Friday. He called me on Friday morning to tell me that they couldn't deliver that morning due to the fact they had no room on their trucks, he did not say anything about him not making they charge on my card for the additional delivery charge and the difference with cost of refrigerators however he did say that they would try that afternoon to deliver and he would have someone call, didn't receive a phone call til Tuesday morning after Labor day from a driver saying that they would be delivering between 11am and 1pm, still nothing about me owing for the difference and delivery, I had thought they had already collected that money. Delivery drivers show up, I had an friend meet them, the delivery driver told my friend I owed them money, you would think that after talking to the office twice the week before and the delivery driver that morning someone would have told me that they haven't collected the money so I could pay them before delivery, no not this company, my friend was doing me a favor by being there and I felt like this company was not being honest. I told .you friend that they had already charged my card, the delivery driver said no, I was pretty aggravated when I called their office. I said who I was, refund my money and that I didn't want the refrigerator and I hung up. Driver told my friend that Bob said to leave the refrigerator without collecting the money, I said no and for them to take it away and tell the office to refund my money (643.25) to me. My wife and I went that day to another retailer, picked out an refrigerator. They delivered it Thursday with no issues. Today is Monday the next week, I just checked my account no money has been returned to me as of yet. Those are the facts of what happened with my experience with this company. Now my opinión I should have never been charge for the first delivery, my opinión that the delivery driver was lazy, he would have had to taken the doors and brackets of to make the delivery. Office should have made the payment while they had me on the phone after we agreed for the additional cost. To me it's not proper to ask for COD when you know that the customer will not be at home at the time of delivery especially when you could have gotten the money before. All in all an horrible experience and they still have my $643.25. I hope not to have to get the police involved, however them not returning my money to me after me asking is theft. Read moreI bought a washer from them 7 years ago, and it kicked arse for over 5 years, So, when my garage fridge broke i didn't give a second thought to going here. I have a son with cerebral palsy/autism and all he wants in his small world is wheel of fortune, football and ice. Unfortunately the refrigerator I picked out didn't get cool when I got it home and set it up and the ice maker didn't work, and that was the reason we picked that one, he liked it and the ice maker. We gave it a few days but no luck. When i called, they're always polite and sent someone right out and they fixed the fridge so it now cools but the ice maker is still a no go. Someone came out again and i don't know what he did because he left before I got to talk to him but the ice maker still didn't work. So I called again and was told they had to order the ice maker or a part for it and that could take two weeks. I recently called again after 2 weeks and was told they'll call me back and I haven't heard back yet. So, two months and still no ice maker and my son asks me multiple times a day "where ice". I'm disappointed, but i guess, the old saying, you get what you pay for, rings true. Should they remedy the situation in the future, I will update my post.
PS) I did also let them know that I now have a home warranty that includes appliances and if they want to reimburse me $100, the cost of the service call, I will make it their problem if that helps, but I still...
Read moreMy landlord has tried getting us a working refrigerator from these guys since May, its now mid-August. I have had 2 refrigerators delivered here. Both with issues. The first fridge wouldnt even turn on, mind you they delievered it, plugged it in and left. Never making sure it was working, the next fridge was a French door. Beautiful fridge, until the entire freezer defrosts for a day at a time with no given notice. They have been called out 2 times to fix this issue. The first, my boyfriend suggested that it COULD be a gasket issue since the doors arent lined up properly, but he told them it was the freezer defrosting, which they claim he never said, so we got a new gasket and they left. They came back a week later quite literally with only a clipboard in hand, after the issue hadnt gone away, asked what was wrong, i tell them the freezer was defrosting at random for a day at a time, he checked the temp in the freezer, which wasnt in defrost at the time. Said well its working now, but i think its the circut board (the most expensive part of the fridge) so ill order you one. Told me it could take 2 weeks, knowing that ive had this issue for at least 2 weeks already....the entire time he was here he only touched my fridge 2 times, once to open the freezer and once to close it.
