One of the standout features of Gamerz R Us is their impressive stock, making it a go-to place for many gamers. While they may not have Disney's elusive Lorcana cards in stock (a quest that feels like finding a needle in a haystack at the moment), they do have a wide selection of trading card game sets. I was able to find the Pokémon cards I was after, and my husband was thrilled to discover Battle Sprits Saga packs and booster boxes. What's even better is that their prices are reasonable and not inflated to an extreme.

The atmosphere at Gamerz R Us is welcoming, especially if you're a trading card game or tabletop gamer. There's an abundance of tables available for playing your favorite games, and there's always a group of fellow gamers, each immersed in their own card battles or tabletop adventures. This is my third iteration of review for Gamerz R us:

I used to come to this store to play Pokémon when they held events—unfortunately, those nights were often empty. Still, I showed up, hoping to support my local game store, buy product from them, and be part of a community.

But over time, it's become clear that their approach to Pokémon has shifted from community building to outright greed. The prices are absurd—even for regulars who just want to rip some packs or support the store in good faith. I've tried multiple times to work with them or find a middle ground where I’m not paying inflated market prices, but there’s been no effort on their part to make things right or even meet us halfway.

Meanwhile, other stores in the area are selling at MSRP and actually care about their Pokémon players. They recognize the value of building a loyal player base—not just flipping product for a quick buck.

It’s frustrating to say, but I can’t support Gamerz R Us anymore. Their refusal to take care of the community that kept them going...

Newly opened as of April 1st, Gamerz R Us offers a haven for card and video gamers alike. Weekly Dragonball Super Card Game tournaments are held and management is open to holding tournaments for other games based on interest.

Want to test out VR or play new console titles? They offer hourly rates for console usage and (rumor has it) are looking to host fighting game tournaments with excellent prize support.

The owners are great people and extremely helpful. If there is a product you would like them to carry, chances are they can get it ordered for you. The regulars for DBSCG have been a very welcoming crowd and I'm thankful to have found such a cool spot to hang...
