PNC Bank — Local services in Colerain Township

I am extremely disappointed with the treatment I received at this PNC branch—and more so with the racial bias that was blatantly on display. During my visit, I noticed a disturbing pattern: Black customers, including myself, were asked to sit and wait for assistance, while white customers were helped immediately upon arrival with a sense of urgency.

I sat in the waiting area for over 20 minutes without even being acknowledged. I was simply trying to get a bank statement from a closed account. Two older Black women were already seated when I arrived and were still there, completely unassisted, when I left. A young Black mother with her child came in shortly after me and was also asked to sit and wait—never once approached. Meanwhile, multiple white customers came in and were helped right away.

On top of the poor service, I couldn’t help but notice the way staff looked surprised when I spoke. I was well-spoken and conservatively dressed, yet the reaction I received made it clear they weren’t expecting that from a Black woman in her 30s. The subtle judgment was obvious—and offensive. It seemed they expected someone “ghetto,” not someone composed and articulate.

This location is predominantly staffed by white tellers and managers. The only Black staff member I saw was an elderly security guard who looked exhausted—someone who shouldn’t have to be standing on her feet like that just to earn a paycheck.

I will not be doing business at this location again and strongly encourage other people of color to take their money elsewhere—somewhere they will be treated with respect,...

I have been q customer at PNC Bank for years and always used debit cards or bill pay. I bought a car, went to the bank to get a check because I don't own any and I wrote the check to the car dealership. I had plenty of money in my account and even told her what i was going to do. I found out that they marked the check as fraud and it was returned the car dealership. Im not very happy! They said it's too late for them to do anything because it was already returned. I thought that they could just run it through again but she told me I had no other option but to go into the bank to put my signature card on file. I sign multiple times a day to use my debit card at some places and they let that go through with no problem. Not a very happy customer to...

Been a pnc customer for 1 month 😀 the virtual app its pretty cool. Easy for payments and tracking your last use. I like the atm machine too 🙌 i can deposit money too...
