UPDATED 3.20.22 A bit expensive but enough to do to make the experience worth it.
The bumper cars seem like a joke because it's in a very small space but it's actually a lot of fun. Laser tag is always a delight and so is mountain climbing for the youths. (UPDATE) However, due to birthday parties, laser tag was not an option today because the parties got first dibs and seemed to have claimed every session scheduled.
Skating is fun but the floor needs to be replenished and polished. There are streak marks everywhere and it's so scratched up that you risk falling. It doesn't look safe at all. (UPDATE) The floors are still the same. My skate stopped on a part of the floor that was completely unpolished causing me to fall. All throughout the day, several others fell too, including those that are more experienced.
Also, they are getting better at monitoring the skating floor. It's not as crazy as it used to be. They remind customers of the rules often and make sure they are forced as they now have employees on the skating floor to help monitor personally. (UPDATE) All of this is true but today was very busy. Parents should also be monitoring their children. I saw a lot of wonderful men and women assisting and supporting the youths for the staff today.
The warrior challenge is never open and is so small that it should be free. It's a joke in comparison to other locations with these same ideas that have put more thought into it. (UPDATE) It was open today but I was busy and didn't get to it. However, I was told by my youth that the ropes challenge is hidden in the top back so you'll only get to see the beginning of it and not the end.
The food isn't bad just not worth the price. We always eat before we go and eat after we are finished. A very small cup of ice/slushee is $4 which in my opinion isn't worth it. However, they do offer a large cup of water, with ice for $0.50 so there's a bargain. (UPDATE) We bought a large cheese pizza with a pitcher of soda for $21. It was worth it! The pizza slices were huge. There were about 8-9 slices. Everyone was full and happy. The soda quenched the thirst of 5 people and was plenty
I wasn't really comfortable with the presence of an officer. He tried to walk regular but often times had his hand on his belt. This is a place for children and family to have fun. It has come a long way but it's getting there. I'd like to see friendlier officers that are culture friendly. Not just feel comfortable and wave at the white children but black children too. They too need to feel safe. (UPDATE) There was an officer there but she didn't appear threatening. She walked. Didn't have her hand on her weapon and...
Read moreGoing just to skate is fine but having a party here is the absolute worse. I booked a birthday party in advance asked all question I needed to make sure boundaries and rules were met. They also send a email with do’s and can’t happens while there which were fine. Once going in the staff was already snobby with us and all we did was arrive to set up! But anyways we get our table and our host was outstanding(the reason for the 2nd star) they had him running 4 parties at once while other staff members just walks around. Like really but it was fine because we were enjoying the skating and game play until they began not allowing access to places like lazer tag and the bumper cars. Then things really started to get pretty snobby. My younger brothers come in the doors and a manager says they have to pay just to get in anyone 21 or younger no matter if they aren’t skating or having any activities they have to pay. My brothers don’t skate and they’re not far from being 21. Not sure how but my brother coughed out $52. But whatever. Booking the party we wanted to skate with my son and I asked where mine and my wife skate wrist bands were and staff member say “that isn’t included rather your the parents or guardians you still have to pay for your own” (rudely).i said I’ve already paid over $200 for the party what more do you need. Now what killed everything was that I couldn’t go out on the floor without skates and help my 2 year old son skate so my wife grabbed her personal skates and went out there with him. They staff member on the floor said it was okay so did our host and the skate rental guy. 3 staff members said it was fine to do, so the manager decides to get into my wife skates and tells her she has to pay to skate after letting him know what we were told he still acted as if we wanted to be rebellious and he wanted to kick my party out but he held his bad company. He says there’s signs over the front doors and front desk as you walk in. Not true there’s nothing that says people 21 and under must pay there’s nothing that says anything about general admission payment. There probably is now after our night! Rather he was upset at people or his staff don’t ever get into a women’s face you talk to the man of her’s. In conclusion everyone invited to the party enjoyed themselves but I wouldn’t recommend booking a party it’s a headache if you have more then 10 kids and they are money hungry save your money. Not good...
Read moreHi my name is Ms. Chandra Fairbanks,
I came to your place of business on 10-9-2024 For my grandchildren birthday. I had serval people attending with me. We bought food, drinks, games, attractions, and skating. The children were having a wonderful time. We had a problem with the food. It was over cooked, hard, to the point where you could not even stick a frok through it. I demonstrated it to the assistant manager, and the head manager also. The head manager Eric insisted there was nothing wrong with food. Acording to the standard time it is placed on to cook. Even though the boneless chicken was very hard and over cooked, they looked like little hockey pucks. We asked for the money back? The manager said he could not give the money back. That was fine. We asked if it could be replaced with different order of boneless chicken and fries? We asked if we could have something different, because we were trying to feed my 2 year old granddaughter. He said he could not give us nothing else. I find that hard to belive. There was no customer in there but us and a few others. It may have been twenty people including staff. My point is there was a lack of Customer service and support showed to myself and my family. After being at work all day and choosing your place of busy to celebrate my children birthday. Knowing this is how we ended our day. That was very disappointing. Their attitudes were very ignorant and noncaring. If that is the type of people you want running your place of business, then I need to make sure these review are shared in as many place as possible. The confidance in their arrogance came from the fact there is no one over them that could change there decision. So they thought it was cool to treat us the way they did. It was not ok. Do be aware of the poor attitude you may face when doing business in the skating...
