SonBridge Thrift&Gift Store — Local services in College Place

I purchased baby furniture for my coming grandchild and when I got it home and opened the box ( the sales lady refused to let me open the box because I had inspected one other box) i felt the sales lady was rude at the time but I figured I would give her a break, it’s difficult to work in retail. But when I opened the box I was shocked at the condition of the pack and play I purchased. Other thrift stores in our area would have never put them for sale. I’m embarrassed for them. I expected it to be a little dirty but it had holes in it, on every side, that made it unusable. Either they didn’t look when it was donated or they knew and that is why the sales lady wouldn’t let me open the box. I really wish I could post pictures because I know everyone would recognize this was not safe and completely not a sale able item. It should have been put in the garage. ( if someone knows how to post pictures on this site please do tell me so I can show people this.) I’m truly troubled by this because I bought other items that seemed alright. I didn’t spend much on this unusable item but I’m sure I could find it at a yard sell or other thrift store and it would be nice. I feel foolish for buying from this store....

Be careful people. Your money Isn't going to helping people when people come here in here for help the lady's treat you like your slum look you up and down with nasty looks on their face and they won't help anyone with anything. When you go to clothes you have 30 minutes to get stuff for your whole family kids and everything and if you don't get most of it they don't care they won't let you come back for even a pair of pants for a Lil baby with no clothes it's a horrible place to give to charity all those judgmental lady's need to go to church and be fired and my wile family and almost everyone I know would vouge to this statement.This message is for the side of sonbridge that helps with free clothing diapers and rent and stuff wellis supposed to but doesn't very often. Also the lady's that work in the store also work on the side I'm talking about so if I were the owner I would god loving people not people filled with so much hatred like their pay isn't even good enough to look at us in horror and hatred the way...

I am giving three stars for the customer service I go on a business downtown Walla Walla. And I also work for Google doing reviews. I go to a lot of thrift stores and antique stores I travel a lot for work I look much younger than I am and therefore for some reason I always get stereotyped by the same old woman on the clothing side. She slammed my book on the counter her eyes spoke louder than words. This is not my first encounter with her or I wouldn't be saying anything at all. I love going here and so does my son we have a blast doing shabby chic furniture like we did on this piece yep a customer service is what's going to stop me from coming. The prices are a little high on something but that is to be expected. Everything is great the store is clean, and the music is very relaxing kind of makes you want to fall asleep.
